Hope you catch some good ones this weekend, Mate. 🎣 I just came back from a night- fish. Got a 38cm Salmon about 1 hour after dark and a 32cm one 2 hours after dark. Then I got tired of wrestling with the weed, and came home! So, it looks like the Snapper is gone, but the Salmon is back! 😊👍

Loved the opening drone shots Steve….what a great way to check the conditions before heading out of the warm house. Thanks for sharing .

Looked for your report first thing this morning. Don't blame if it's that cold though. My thoughts on the washed up salmon, maybe caught by someone and buried, then lost . Looks like sea lice and beach worms have had a good meal also Haha. Was that low tide this morning? Keep up the good work, tight lines Frank

No one else has access to this beach unless they hike 10kms along the beach. So they've definitely been washed up. The tide was 3 hours into the dropping tide. Cheers Frank 👍

Hiya SteveO. Sorry mate; I could not leave a comment for you last week. I had a bloody bad fall at night, and knocked myself out. Lost my footing and slammed my head into the sharp corner of the kitchen bench and there I lay until my son in law and daughter came around to get me up off the floor. I did not even call them but looks like my Apple Watch had sent an alarm to them to say that I had a pretty bad fall. TECHNOLOGY eh mate. I have stuffed my back right up as well and am rather immobile at the present. Been looking forward to your adventures mate, and I thought BUGGER, wonder where SteveO has got to this morning as I hadn't seen you. Anyhow, nice to see you again mate. Cheers.

Oh mate that's not very good news. Really sorry to hear that. I hope you're up and about soon. I haven't been able to do much other than a quick 5 cast beach report on Friday. I should be right soon though. Thanks Angus, take care mate 👍

Maybe the Salmons got predated by dolphins & jumped out on to the sand to escape

@jacobnadas5947 that's definitely a possibility.. I've seen them do that onto rocks. On the south coast of NSW.
