@@garbenshtak7707 It is not required by law - especially in narrow roads like these. Cyclists are allowed to use the full lane. Safer for both.

Love this kind of riding, scooting along quickly on largely traffic-free roads, when the action of riding is meditative and trance-like. Nothing like as hilly and exposed as my patch of the UK however, and the winter weather there is like our summers!

I was looking at this and realized I knew this road. I lived in Santa Barbara and rode all of these roads in the 60's and 70's. More traffic now than then for sure.

I just rode a variation of this route today....i rode in from the P.C.H from the north of ventura ,all the way to montecito....an it was a blast..60miles Had to finish my trip with some pizza from toppers
