Six months ago, Doctors didn’t expect me to survive a double brain bleed, a stroke and a 200 mile plane ride in a blizzard. Saw the Doctor who put me on that plane yesterday and she was amazed that I was not only upright and fit at age 68, but have full function. I’ve been doing ketovore with intermittent fasting for nearly a year now, eating mostly animal products but some salads. God and the diet are why I’m still here. It works for nearly everything that ails you!

Imagine my surprise when I found yours and others channels, showed such great results! I’m addicted to carbs and 150+ lbs overweight. I’m going to try this in order to get my life back. I’d appreciate any help I can get. Excellent video and info. BTW, I love beef, bacon, butter and eggs, so I think I can do it.

40 years of 'healthy' low fat, high grain eating gave me increasing problems. 2 years WFPB and after early improvements, it all started going down hill. Tried low carb and that became very low carb so now 4+ years keto/carnivore and I'm thriving! I eat fatty beef and lamb, all cuts and cooked in many different ways (as I love cooking and variety), eggs, butter, home made bone broth, and I only use salt, pepper and bay leaves for seasoning. Occasionally I eat fish, and fruits like avocado and olives. My addiction is coffee and cream. I never get bored, I love every meal. I'm 54, lean, athletic looking although I do little exercise and never hungry. Friends think I'm mad yet I'm the only one on no medications with no age related medical issues.

I started the Carnivore lifestyle exactly a year ago today. I'm currently 53 years old and have been type 2 diabetic for a long time. I worked out 5 days a week thinking that would help me. Nope. I switched to Carnivore and in the last year I have removed a ton of visceral fat and subcutaneous fat and gained almost 30 pounds of lean muscle. I don't waste time doing cardio I just do weight training and I go very heavy at times. My A1C a year ago was 10.1. Currently my A1C is 4.4. I wish I would have learned about the Carnivore lifestyle years ago but everything happens for a reason.

Pro tip; I buy from my local butcher beef fat (it is extremely cheap), in a small stew pot I render the finely chopped fat into tallow, with a stainless steel strainer separate the collagen bits. Save these for snacks later with salt. The tallow is then my cooking oil and what I like to call a carnivore 'rocket fuel'. This is a great way to up your fat without chewing on a stick of butter.

I finally went back to the American Diet of eat what I love sugars etc. now fully carnivore since the day before Jan 7 2024 and I feel better than when I did at the best shape of my life better than during my 20s while in Marines. I used to be a very strict (nothing with a face) vegan. So strict in fact that I was literally eating mostly lettuce. I was sick with a cold for a couple of months - doctor took one look at me and asked if I was a drug addict. We spoke, told him about my diet and he ran my bloods and had me wait for the results in the waiting room. Preliminary results came back and suffice to say, the conversation was start eating meat or you're going to die. I was severely vitamin deficient and my body started showing it. I reintroduced chicken, fish and eggs and cheese and started to get better. I used to think that vegan was best and it really isn't.

Yes I was vegetarian and then went vegan since the late 90s. Switched to carnivore. You want to make sure you get enough fatty meats (add butter if you can tolerate it) in order to feel satiated. I had to eat a lot starting off because my body needed the nutrients from being vegan so long. Then once my body got enough nutrient I was satisfied with a small meal and one full meal a day and something OMAD.

I was vegan too but only for about 6 months. After that I ate only lean chicken and salmon for years. I read Dr. Furman’s book and he scared me away from animal fat and protein. I kept my protein levels extremely low and my very lean. I was having a whole avocado daily but my eating was so deficient in meat and meat fat. When my health was terrible and I desperately tried carnivore over four years ago I was starving for fatty meat! My first meal was fatty chicken thighs and I ate a lot! I felt amazing! I ate around 3-4 pounds of fatty meat in the beginning and lost all inflammation and gained no weight. Now I eat 1-2 pounds of meat and fat. Your body will thank you and love your new way of life!❤️👍

@@gloriaanima3575 Same! I stupidly underwent a certain therapy that I didn't even need 5 years ago and it all but destroyed my nails and hair. Especially my nails. Not a girly girl by any stretch of the imagination, but as an ugly chick, my hair was the one feature I was proud of. I didn't lose it, but it definitely thinned. We just moved and until we get a whole house water filtration system put in, I'm stuck with the chemical-ridden hard af water they have here. It's making my hair dry and dull. And it's thinning even more because of it. As for my nails, I've tried everything from special oils and weekly (at home!) manicures to supplements...nothing works. I'm sick of them peeling and breaking. It's annoying and painful.

Slowly adapting to carnivore. I do not plan to go full carnivore, but I will just eat meat for meals most meals. I was brainwashed into having so many sides with a meal. Just removing them and filling my plate with meat has completely removed my depression, anxiety and lowered my A1C significantly. On top of all that when I take walks I get the urge to run which I havn't had the urge to do since I was 19 years old. Even just lowering plant consumption and increasing meat consumption has changed my life.

I've been a "Butter Gal" my whole life. My Mom used to have to scold me for getting into the butter nearly every day, until our family embraced the margarine/oleo propaganda and changed everything. At school I would get as much butter as I could and pack my bread down with it because I still craved butter, and I think salt too.

Same!!! It was always butter whenever I could get my hands on it and margarine at the house was my worst nightmare. If I had a penny every time people told me I'd die of a heart attack for the way I ate butter my whole life.. Smh. Well I'm 46 now and my vascular health remains stellar 🙏😍

I lost 53lbs in one year. stopped the SAD diet and did keto. after 3 months of keto i started doing carnivore. I weighed 253lbs and dropped to 217 and stayed at 217 for about 6 months. it was then i started doing intermittent fasting and after about 2 months i dropped down to 205lbs. it was never about weight loss but about addressing health issues. but - for me - intermittent fasting was the key + keto to so much energy, focus, stamina and far better blood work results! I still have hypertension which is strange after losing 53lbs but I feel GREAT every day! I'm not tired all day long.

One great boots to basic carnivore is to add lemon juice (and or vinegar) in the form of one-yolk one-minute hollandaise. Great on eggs (especially poached) or steak.

Search for chentiangemalc's One Minute One Egg Hollandaise Sauce video (it is worth the watch): 4 Tblsp butter, 1 egg yolk, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1 1/2 tsp water. Butter in microwavable bowl, 12s , add lemon, water, yolk, stir. Zap for 8s, stir. Repeat until it thickens (not more that 1m total). Something like that (that's how I do it, but I also change it up a little: 5 Tblsp butter, skip the water and use all lemon juice or some vinegar. You can add thyme, fresh or dried, too).

For anyone who says I was never vegan to begin with - after the first 2 years being vegan for my health - I was die hard about animals rights advocacy after watching Food Inc... Unfortunately, I was so die hard, the idea of being any different has probably shortened my lifespan. I wasn't on processed junk food - I was whole foods, and lots of supplements!!!! Doing all the things. Sure, some of my health issues are probably still from auto immune issues I had prior to being vegan - but, I still do have them! Ready to try and cut out everything, and really get some healing ❤ Humans are animals, too. And, I have a lot of reasons to want to live as long, and healthy as possible.

15 days now, just beef, salt and water. On the first day I ate eggs and it made me feel bad, so no more eggs. I'm 51 and I have SIBO, leaky gut, and fatty liver disease and an extra 80 plus pounds. I'm noticing less pain in my joints, almost no cravings, I've lost 15 lbs. I eat about 2 lbs of beef a day and I feel stuffed. We buy our steers from a local farmer and have been doing this for over a year. The local farmer feeds his steer alfalfa and non GMO corn... The beef is great, tastes wonderful. I'm sticking with this until I'm thin and healthy.

I'm on my sixth month carnivore. I started off Lion diet...I've tried everything people have said from increasing fats, eating more (and gained 8 pounds, much to my dismay), I don't snack, have no cravings or desire. I am back to just OMAD and that's fine for me. I'm to the point now I'll just stick with one meal and hopefully at some point, my body will adjust and the 60 lbs I want to lose will start coming of. I go for long walks every day mixed with intermittent jogging as well. Dr. Kiltz said to up the protein, so been doing that too. I discouraged to say the least but I am not going to stop being carnivore.

Stick with it!! I’m two years into carnivore and I’m so very glad I found this way of eating. It took a while for me to notice any weight loss when I first started, but I could feel myself feeling better. From what I’m gathering, my body was healing itself before shedding excess weight. I stuck with it and it just worked best for me with my schedule to do OMAD, all of a sudden without making any changes, I just started losing weight. I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off! I also drink quite a lot of water, not sure if that helps, but I feel like it did 🤷🏻‍♀️ I make sure my one meal is a good filling meal so I’m not under eating. Good luck to you!!!

I have to drink a lot of water because I have/had CKD, which the last blood work I had done the NP said my kidney's were 'normal'...but I see the nephrologist later this month, so will see what she says...I was hoping it was because I was healing, that would be great but I want the 60 lbs off too. The problem with production beef that you see in the grocery store is corn and silage fed. You can see the difference in the color of the fat. Grass fed beef has fat that is yellow or tan in color. Beef fed from a feed lot has fat that is as white as cotton sheets. Huge nutritional differences and lack of taste are the differences I see. It's been reported that production beef is high in omega 6 fatty acid where in comparison grass fed beef is high in omega 3 and lower in omega 6.
