Spot on video! During the hot summer months, I remove and store in the garage, all liquids, sprays, tapes, sealants, and anything else that may be adversely affected by the heat, including cooking ingredients. Keeping these items together in their own storage bins makes it easy. I also dedicate a small bay just for road emergency supplies...Viair, road cones, flasher lights, bottle jack, orange vests, gloves, ground mat, etc. Don't want to be hunting around for these things while on the side of a busy highway. Another tip...buy a small business card organizer book to keep all your membership cards, discount cards, insurance cards, etc. all in one handy spot.

Fuses are a must as well. Don't forget the "square drive" screwdriver bit. RV builders love their square drive.

Great content, I have been working on my RV tool kit for a couple months now and have it pretty well set up now. I will post it on the Discord Server when I get some pictures to share. It is amazing how quickly I can take care of small issues with an organized set of tools and a good assortment of screws, fasteners, and light bulbs while on the road vs waiting till I am back at the home base.

Great video! I love the part about carrying a spare water pump. Ours went out on us last summer and we had to go two days without water. Fortunately we had friends who had a new pump and tools waiting on us when we got to their house. We really appreciated that so much. Harbor Freight sells a air pump too for a fraction of price of the ViAir.

Love your videos! I’ll also be a solo female on the road and actually I’ve been planning on the home course for a little over a year and want to take the inspected course to run my own business. But first I need to get my youngest graduated in 2023. A lot to do before then so I’ll keep watching these awesome videos. Safe travels, you guys!

Great video! I agree with everything except carrying an extra oil filter. I used to be a mechanic in my younger days, drove a big rig for 8 years, and now I've been an engineer for over 30 years. As long as you change your oil on schedule, an oil filter won't fix any issue. Diesel motors are sensitive to low oil but all you have to do is add oil. The only way you would have to immediately change your oil filter is if it gets damaged. Which will never happen. Not sure if you mentioned it but carry a lot of different ratings of fuses, wire, and terminating tools. Used that several times while on the road. By the way I too have an older diesel pusher. 2002 Alfa See Ya with the same chassis and motor your does. :)

Ive said before, I have an 700sq ft apt. Same as an rv, it just doesn't move. I use those IKEA bags for EVERYTHING!!! organizing and removing. Take them to store and put your new purchases in to make sure they will fit into the space you have at home. No more buying too much

If you're full-time RVr and have a storage unit and having this organization issue as described in this video as well. You got a deeper issue. Pack rat. Storage items are weather dependant items, tools, personal survival equipment/gear and parts for repairs. All that can be kept in your trailer in an organized manner. Save money and purge.

Please be very careful with the telescoping ladders. A local home inspector used one all the time until one day it collapsed and he fell and hit his head on a concrete planter! He was in a coma for a month with a traumatic brain injury and to this day still has cognitive issues. These ladders are not what they’re cracked up to be and can be very dangerous. Stay safe!!

90 % are doing this wrong....? 90%... 9 out of 10 are doing it wrong... OR...maybe 90% are doing it right and the 10% are doing it wrong. Yeah, that sounds more accurate
