These commercials aired on March 25th, 1994.
1. Classic Commercials Two Video Set (Is anybody sensing the irony here?)
2. Mentos (YES!)
3. TV Spot for "Jimmy Hollywood" (I've never even heard of this movie, and I have a pretty expansive knowledge of film)
4. Honda Motorcycle (One of the few motorcycle commercials I've seen)
5. Citibank
6. Mystery Science Theater 3000 College Tour (With Penn Jillette from Penn & Teller)
7. News Bites (I wasn't even aware "The New Kids On The Block" were still performing in '94)
8. Promo for "Candid Gamera"
9. Mazda MX-3 (My Dad had this car in "Jungle Green")
10. 99 Cent Whopper at Burger King
11. Zima (I pride myself in having never tried this. Apparently, it was discontinued by Coors just last month)
12. TV Spot for "Clifford"
13. Envision Contact Lenses
14. Coca Cola Bumper
15. Coca Cola (Looks like this was animated in Mario Paint)
16. Zima (I never knew deranged Nazi Scientists were that into Zima)
17. Nissan Sentra XE
18. AT&T
19. Extra Classic Bubble Gum (Who could forget the image of a girl crushed to death by a giant gum bubble?)
20. Land Rover Defender
21. Polaroid Captiva (With "comedian" Sinbad!)

I hope we all realize the extreme irony of watching a commercial for a collection of classic commercials while watching a collection of classic commercials. LMFAO.

0:00--I don't own this particular set, but I have a 3-disc set called "1001 Classic Commercials," published by Mill Creek Entertainment. Most of the commercials are from the 1950's and 60's. They are fun to watch, but mostly from before my time. I wish they would have included more from the 70's and 80's because that is the period that I grew up in. Mercifully, KZbin has helped fill that void.

That's so cool that the AT&T commercial actually came almost exactly true. We have netflix that can stream a movie right onto your tv, and online downloading of movies. Online classes where you communicate with the professor via webcam. Many people use skype or another video chatting service to talk with there family via webcam from hundreds of miles away.

@spcmn77 The drug commercials you see with all of the "weird and insane warnings" aren't for over the counter stuff. Those are advertising prescription drugs. BTW...the only drugs allowed to be advertised on TV back then were over the counter and relatively harmless. The FDA began allowing DTC (Direct-to-consumer) prescription drug advertising in 1997.

@moomba445 HD televisions (And I assume, cameras) were first developed in Japan in the late 60's, though at that point the technology wasn't standardized and used a different ratio. Much of the consumer technology that we consider "modern" or "high-tech" has been around for decades, it just takes a very long time for a lot of this technology to be produced by manufacturers and adopted by the general public.

0:01 Thank goodness commercials Millennials (and Gen X and Z) are nostalgic for came out during when video recorders were common. I can’t imagine how many commercials from the late 1940s to about the mid 1970s that are now lost. At least folks like Ira Gallen and Obsolete Video saved many of them from fate.

I actually saw "Jimmy Hollywood" at a (nearly empty) theater. From the ads, I thought it looked pretty good. It wasn't. Not at all. I don't remember much about it, but don't think there's any need to revisit it. I rarely drank in high school (I was 17 in '94), but even if I did more often, those God-awful Zima ads would have ensured that I would have stuck to beer. I might have drank one in college, though.

Those Zima ads are a bit confusing. We're not going to tell you what it's made of or what it's like, just that it's new and a man in a white suit says you should ingest it till intoxicated. That may work for pill commercials, but is probably a good reason why I've never seen anybody order a Zima.
