How did you guys not talk about the 7 wonders! That was the marketing highlight of the film that time. As a kid I counted it every time the song played on tv to make sure all 7 are there 🤣

There are differences between 90s kids and 90s babies..these guys are 90s babies....I was 14 years when this movie was released and I was wondering how the director made this movie this double role....and with awesome songs!!.. especially 7wonder song!! ❤️

yes i am born in 1986, so i am 90 s kids. these guys havent watched it. 90 kids all have watched this movie. so HIT movie. these are 90s born babies, more like 2k kids All 90kids have watched in theatres. Almost all . Shankar n Rahman man 50 kg tajmahal song everyone's singing it.

Ippo irukura kids ku pazhaya padatha oda arumai purila... When jeans was released so many things in that movie was new to our generation which made us feel in awe... Especially Hollywood tour... The vfx... Skeleton dancing... And seven wonders of world ... These 2k kids will never understand... For that Year the quality delivered by Shankar was awesome...

I can never get enough of this movie. Sure, it has a fair share of cringe and illogical stuff. Yet, it is a masterpiece of sorts. I mean, if anyone could conceive an idea for a romantic song wherein the man proposes to the woman he loves by citing that she's the Eighth Wonder of the World, by actually picking 7 iconic monuments across the world, going there, shooting the scenes and making it a picturesque and a memorable song for us 90's kids in particular, it has got to be S. Shankar. I mean, could this get any more romantic? He is one of the directors who can make a song (A.R. Rahman's beautiful compositions in particular) epic, a visual treat for the viewers. This wasn't even thought of by any director from Bollywood at that time. In, fact the lyrics were written for Aishwarya Rai who was, is and always will be Miss World and the Eight wonder if the world.

This was in 1998, I was 5 yrs old then, intha movie la naa TV telecast apo than paathen, the film was like AWE to me everytime I watch this on TV, Theatre alam apo veetla kutitu poga mattanga ..TV la paatha nybagam than..intha padam paathutu than America poganum alam I used to dream in my childhood.its been 23 yrs since it's release,. it's still being a dream as of now, Airport ku ula kooda ponathu illa I am 28 now, If they re-release in theatres I will definitely watch it for sure 🖤 now..

@@j.d.s8942 It was the same time my elder cousins started moving to the USA, and we knew there was something called IT industry. I was in 8th std and most of us had lot of dreams how US would look. This movie gave us lot of fuel for our imagination and some of my cousins went and some opted to work here. It's a coming of age movie for my family and we never miss whenever it's on TV.

I still remember the first time I watched this movie in Bangalore with my family. It was in the year 1998. I was 9 years old and I was so excited when my mom told me that we were going to watch the movie in a theatre. Kino Theater, Sheshadripuram, Evening show. Pure nostalgia!

The total runtime of Visual FX in this movie was more than Jurassic Park (1993) and was featured in Guinness Book of World Records for some time…this movie took us to America virtually and AR sir’s awesome scores..it’s a masterpiece

Aishwarya Rai really looks dream in Jeans movie, all songs and each scene you just can't move your eyes off her and that song which has wonders in it, it really blessed us having the 8th wonder performing it herself, it's just magnetically unbelievably beautiful, ssrsly she justifies her tag of being the world's most beautiful women of her time and ofcourse her acting is marvelous.

The revisit was more of sarcasm than paying a tribute to this legendary film. These kids must have been toddlers when the movie was released. I was 15 when the movie was released and still remember the visual effects people talked about for months. It was an inspiration for many directors who introduced visual effects in their movies. overall it was very cringy to watch.

I still love the movie!!! It does have a lot of cringe 🤪 but it's a total fun and entertaining film!!! But you guys didn't showcase the actual epic scenes like Lakshmi's criminal plot twist, Radhika, SVS, etc I once danced for the Hai rabba song when I was very little and for the lyric "Europe-il kudipuguvom" (we will live in Europe), I mimicked drinking water (For the non-tamils: Kudi has 2 meanings, one means let's live, whereas I thought it means drinking water) 😂 It's still a famous inside joke in the family.

I am a 90 born and Jeans is my forever top favourite! Yeah there could be flaws, but when you love something truly, you love it's flaws too! And Jeans is forever my first love ❤️ I felt bad for these guys, that they are of this generation, miles away from how love, romance and sensibilities used to be back in 90s. It's not like getting into bed as soon as you see someone in a pub. It's much healthier and better anyday. I absolutely condemn that this gen kids don't even deserve to judge this movie. Whatever! Sankar , is the most technically sound director of our generation, the way he brought in technology into films is unmatched. He used/showed holography in this movie, brought cg characters in boys and prosthetics in i, others might have done it but he does the best, the vfx in his movies is top notch... This was hilarious, we loved it back then but now when we see the movie…. Some of the scenes are 😬. However cannot ignore the nostalgia, still a good movie to watch….

I totally get it.I also grew up watching those films and yes,I tried to re-watch those films during the lockdown and just cudnt take it anymore.But the worst part is how u all r reacting to it. I can chain myself to watch all those logic lacking movies but I just cudnt take this short video.U guys reacting to it just even more cringeeee.The reaction and the video just screams awkwarddd all over it.Bdw,this is not a person who hates ur content ,this is coming from a person who likes each of ur individual content posted on Instagram .The video is just awkwardddd to watch

I think the reason for that is language. I understand jeans was a massive success with it being dubbed in several languages but in this case having the people reacting to it being those who understand tamil makes it an easier job for the production team of the video for when it comes to filming this. Besides im pretty sure the tamil version is what will be going on Netflix - not the hindi or other dubbed versions.

I felt like most of them were not respectful its a 90’ tamil movie so obviously our taste have changed since then .. but they kept being playful and laughing about silly details like tamil movies now were any better LOL. Some movie are still very unlogical but I felt like they wanted to act like « I DOnT WaTchE CriNgeY ShoW » and some even said they never watched this masterpiece like lol girl lie better next time
