"YES!!" 😂😂😂 Haha, you must have read my mind because yesterday I thought "That'd be great if they would do that kind of vids with the 90s version!" 😄 I laughed so hard when that guy started singing awfully ("feel the rain on your skin")!! I've started re-watching all the episodes (I watched them a lot at the beginning of the 90s when i was about 10 and then re-watched just the first couple episodes in the early 00s, but that's it. So it's nice to watch them again but with adult eyes this time. I think a lot of subtleties had escaped me. There are several levels of interpretation, just like The Little Prince. My 12 yo son watches a couple of episodes with me and he watched some of Moominvalley too but he's been mostly interested in the Groke so far 😅 I'm re-reading the books too.) Anyway, thanks for the good laugh!

@@strawberrysatan104 Ah, not sure what makes you say that but thanks anyway! 🙂 My son says I'm very much like Snufkin as I need a lot of alone time and feel trapped and stressed in social situations, but he also says that I speak like Little My and that I'm as socially awkward as Snork 😅 I lost my husband to suicide in 2012 so it's been just the two of us for ten years and he has to bear with my weirdness. I'm far from being fantastic. I'm not as wise as Moominmamma, I can't cook nice dishes and I hate doing the housework, I'm unable to express my feelings and his bursts of affection leave me paralysed and I spend most of my time reading or daydreaming, so you see, I'm not really your typical mum... Still, I'm trying my best to give him all the keys to be open-minded and to be able to stand up on his own two feet later, and he knows I'll always be here for him, whatever paths he'll follow in his life.

yeah I think they’re better platonic. Despite who the characters are based on, it doesn’t seem that they’re type of relationship reflected on the characters’ relationship so much as their personalities and certain aspects did. Personally, I viewed Snufkin as asexual. Now in the CGI cartoon they’re gay. lol Or at least the same way Sean and Cory are in Boy Meets World. lol

The original books were written in The 2nd world war in Finland. One of The books was about a Giant asteroid coming to hit Moomin valley, Forcing everyone to leave their home. The series is originally in Finnish/Swedish so the characters have names that sound a little strange to us sometimes, but I think it adds to the strange charm of the series. The names are actually not quite the same as in the orginal languages, for example Snufkin is called Snusmumriken in Swedish 😂
