Finally Edit: 90s is very generous. I think what you said about knowing in about 30 is spot on for most types of entries. You know when you're getting an actual instrumental vs an incomplete/lyricless song. I love that you're trying to do right by everyone and show your reaction to everyone's entry, but with 1000+ entries to sort through, imo that's too generous. Take American Idol for example, (bare in mind haven't watched in 10 years might be different now) during auditions they of course listen to everyone, but what we the viewers see is the funny ones, generally brief clips of the horrible ones (DISQUALIFIIIIIIIEEEDDDDDDD) and we see the solid, big contenders and I'd be cool with that even if my own entry doesn't make it on a video and I think alot of others would too. I imagine releasing 1 video a week by this point your several hundred entries ahead of us viewers and probably have 5 give or take videos ready to go or being put together. I know this blew up way bigger than you ever imagined but maybe consider how you structure the vids from a production stand point such as giving yourself a timeline for how long it should go next go around whenever that may be. No doubt you gotta be about burnt out trying to critically listen to soooo many entries. I know I'm sitting here critically listening with you getting burnt out alongside you waiting to hear the "cool ones" and I think alot of the people voicing complaints or begging for the gong are doing the same.

concur - I also would disqualify anything after 4 bars of not changing the riff as long as the rest of the amplitude is flat af which means the song has literally ZERO volume or expressive dynamics, even though you're engaging the big fat forebrain we all sport at our advanced ages it doesn't mean your sub or un conscious isn't going to be irritated as hell and screaming at the back of your eyeballs GONG GONG GONG and honestly, if the estate of Chuck Barris is good with it, there is enough people wanting to push gear that we could probably have a game show with legit af prizes. I don't know man...game show host? of the coolest game show? damn.
