I went there and thought that was a stump. If you listen to the park ranger explain how it is the remains of an ancient volcano, you will also hear him tell of the native legend of it being a tree, and how two children escaped a giant bear on top of the stump.

Before God flooded the earth, there where "Nephilim" , "fallen angels" AND giant trees. The trees where cut down so the giants , whome God had admonished for their wicked beastly fornication, could not escape the Flood waters. Now!, stick THAT story up that brainwashed rangers corn hole . We've ALL been lied to!! "HISTORY= " HIS-STORY".. the Jesuits, Roman Catholic church, Freemasons, "Cains" principles of worshipping the " dragon" .. I'll stop now. Read the Bible and know God. Have a nice day. Book of Enoch.... It's called "Devils Tower" for a reason!!! get it...

Keith, NC, thanks again for sharing. I've lived in NC until 1969, moved to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Spent 2 months in Sioux Falls, SD. and back to Iowa until 1975. Back to NC, for 6 months, then to Brownwood, Texas for 5 months, then back to NC. I won't move again. I live the country in NC. 4 seasons, flat lands and mountains, all covered with trees. NC is home. Mom and dad lived in Wooster, Massachusetts, and I flew once and drove once to visit. Most of the east coast is like NC's country. I care not for treeless, hot, dry rocky country. So, I'm glad I got to share your trip with you, these videos have been great. Thanks again, and I too will be glad when you are home safe. Glad you did this now because hell is coming to America. ❤

In NY my backyard borders a small lake. I was clearing reeds by the shore a while back. I'd grab the reed with one hand and cut at the base. I was surprised - I grabbed a 'reed' and it popped out of the dirt. That 'reed' turned out to be a 40 caliber muzzle loading rifle stuck in the dirt muzzle down. There was no stock and everything was rusted to the point that nothing functioned on it.

It's the central shaft of an extinct volcano. There is one almost directly straight east of Devils Tower call Bear Butte, where they grow awesome grapes for wine between Belle Fourche and Sturgis in the rich volcanic soil. A little older and more weather since that's where it erupted the first time as the tectonic plate moving Eastward abducted under the Eastern United States plate, just west of where the Mississippi River flows, on that fault line. With the main Caldera being the Black Hills. Second eruption is Devil's Tower with the main Caldera, being that Basin between moorcroft and Sundance. Third Caldera Yellowstone Lake with the lava flow flowing West toward the Pacific ocean across Southern Idaho. Then while the tectonic plates slowed and stopped the Rockies were pushed up with the Tetons being the youngest upheaval. And the subduction started along the west coast of the United States. With the Pacific Plate moving Slightly North and East as indicated by the Hawaiian Islands. Just saying from a geologic standpoint.

Agreed. Melissa and Mike usually play a decent selection of music but this was totally suited to the vista. I could watch / listen to that for hours and only get up to refresh my drinks or take a toilet break. Would have like to have seen the locos but I'm not complaining. I think that one of the reasons why Clint Eastwood had so much success with his Spaghetti Westerns was the music complemented the scenery.

“Indeed Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, With fine branches that shaded the forest, And of high stature; And its top was among the thick boughs. The waters made it grow; Underground waters gave it height, With their rivers running around the place where it was planted, And sent out rivulets to all the trees of the field. ‘Therefore its height was exalted above all the trees of the field; Its boughs were multiplied, And its branches became long because of the abundance of water, As it sent them out. All the birds of the heavens made their nests in its boughs; Under its branches all the beasts of the field brought forth their young; And in its shadow all great nations made their home. ‘Thus it was beautiful in greatness and in the length of its branches, Because its roots reached to abundant waters. The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it; The fir trees were not like its boughs, And the chestnut trees were not like its branches; No tree in the garden of God was like it in beauty. I made it beautiful with a multitude of branches, So that all the trees of Eden envied it, That were in the garden of God.’ “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have increased in height, and it set its top among the thick boughs, and its heart was lifted up in its height, And aliens, the most terrible of the nations, have cut it down and left it; its branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys; its boughs lie broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the peoples of the earth have gone from under its shadow and left it. ‘So that no trees by the waters may ever again exalt themselves for their height, nor set their tops among the thick boughs, that no tree which drinks water may ever be high enough to reach up to them. ‘For they have all been delivered to death, To the depths of the earth, Among the children of men who go down to the Pit.’” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭31:3-10, 12, 14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

@@shawnj3525 the tree stump in Wyoming. Has 4 main river basins 1 flowing east. The flaming sword that protects it is Yellowstone volcano. The water that came up from the ground like steam, are the geysers and hot springs. That are also in Wyoming and South Dakota which is situated next to it. It is the only place on earth that tickets all the boxes. The wildlife the terrian everything. Also the tree that my brother Arch Angel Michael Elohim cut down as ordered by my FATHER YAHWEH ELOHIM. HAVE MADE THAT TRIP AT LEAST 25 TIMES AND HAVE NEVER MADE IT INTO CUSTER STATE PARK. I LIVED IN RAPID CITY FROM 78 TO 82, SO THE AREA AROUND THERE WAS MY STOMPING GROUNDS FOR AWHILE. I WOULD LIVE THEIR STILL BUT THE SUMMER IS TOO HOT AND WINTER IS JUST CRAZY, WHEN IN LIVED IN SD I WAS SECURITY POLICE AND MY JOB WAS OUT IN THEM FLAT PLACES GUARDING NUKES, SO I WAS ALWAYS IN THE HEAT AND COLD. NICE VIDEO.

That landmark is breathtaking in person! Was there anyone climbing it, while you were there? We had to use binoculars to even see the climbers, from the trail. Such a spectacular place. If you have time, stop by Wall drug, not too far out from Mt Rushmore, and enjoy a burger! All beautiful country!👍

I have enjoyed both of your KZbin channels for some time now. My wife and I have been retired for 5 years now and enjoy traveling each year in our crew cab pickup, seeing our family and the beauty of our country. But Covid-19 put a temporary stop to that for now. Please excuse me if I ask a personal question. I was excited to see that you still drive when traveling and stay at motels the same as we do also. Is it difficult to find a restaurant or small town cafe for your meals while on the road or do you make up some meals while driving? I appreciate your help as this will help us in planning for future trips. Your newest family member, Archie, has really grown, consider recording a video of Archie, Ruger and Piper’s reaction of seeing you both again when you get home. Thank you both for the quality of work you put into your channels.

I'm sure you know by now that Spearfish Canyon is a must drive. Breakfast at the Latchstring in is phenomenal. We're in Custer about 90 minute drive from spearfish. If you can, take in Custer State Park. You're a little early, On Friday there is a Buffalo Roundup. 1400 head herded into the corrals. It's a sight to behold with cowboys on horseback running the herd. We'll be there, our 4th time. Bringing a friend from PA.

So, you did get a chance to stop at the Little Bighorn Battlefield. Wahoo! I thought you might like it. I spent quite a bit of time walking around there and got some great pictures. There are actually 2 monuments/historical markers there, one for the shoulders and one for the Indians. All of it was fascinating for me when I was there. I also stopped at the Devils Tower and while I was there some folk were climbing it.
Should Have Bought one Years Ago! You were right
