Love the unexpected transition shot from the cycling track, which we're accustomed to seeing, into the aerial view with the drone.

Beautiful architectural painting! Your work is wonderful! Love, love, love your videos. They are a work of art! I love that you don’t feel you have to speak every second. Your videos are a wonderful way to de-stress! Living in the Arizona desert, it is great getting a glimpse into your countryside and cities! Such a gorgeous glorious country. Your paintings capture the love you have for your home.

This title could be the mantra of my life. I have never gained expertise like you have though. I imagine sticking with what works is more tempting for those have gained mastery. Sounds like an interesting/refreshing exploration.

How wonderful your wc pieces are. You have inspired me to pull out my water color palette that I had abandoned 20 years ago for oils and give it another go. Thank you for these wonderful, calming and inspiring videos.

I am not an experienced watercolour painter and am still exploring other mediums but started with watercolour. I really love your methods and videos.

So true. Enjoying different brushes and mark making is fun and not enough could be said for just having a good time. I have found the best ways at least for myself to be the unexpected ones or the ones I had to improvise and then they become another tool to use. Thank you, back to work for me.😊

To me an exhibition in a liquor store is the equivalent of The Beatles playing on a rooftop. It's the kind of thing that makes history.

I have the worst time getting started. It's not so much procrastination as it is fear. Now I think of that saying I heard once: Done is better than perfect. And it's sort of true, as rather than finish a painting, I mostly abandon it. (Then maybe touch it up a bit later)

I think you are right: that it what worked for me in your exact situation. It is ridiculous that one has to find all these little ways to trick the obstinate mule of the psyche into actually doing the work, but for some of us, that does seem to be the way. In my experience, finding a low-stakes art show or painting competition to enter into can help too - there is a deadline and you keep churning out things and trying to do better. It really teaches you not to be precious about any one painting. I also try to tell myself: it's just play - I am playing with paints, like Titus (just, you know ... fairly crap at it, in my case, but still playing) Good luck. It's worth sticking with it.

Can I ask you Titus what brush do you use for painting tree foliage, is it one that you altered or did you buy it ? You always make painting trees look easy.
@TitusMeeuws2 ай бұрын
I bought it. Two brushes in one; a small one en a larger softer one.
