My paper doesn't stay wet or damp this long. Yes, I've used a mist spray but after a while it runs. I wasn't more impressed with the Arches paper I bought recently (Daniel Smith paints ). Maybe I'm not fast enough.

Four fixes. 1) Stretch your paper so it won't buckle and saturate it more. 2) Wet both sides of your paper and paint on a plexiglass or gator board. 3) Use 300 lb paper. It stays wet longer. Or 4) Paint faster 😂
