Sounds good. Running smoothly. Nice shiny intake. Adjusting rocker arms, valve train, and new seals replacement makes a whole a lot different. You did an excellent job on engine. New muffler will make it sound like a brand new car. Again, I like it . 😎👍👍👍

Thanks man I'm going to the shop this week an getting those flanges put in an getting my flowmaster put back on. This thing has been driving like a caddillac. From what it was when I picked this car up an done what ive done on it this car is running 110% better. More power better acceleration an the performance has increased. I absoulutely love it. Now I get to focus on suspension. Seals an see about fixing the floor pans. For 3500.00 An the money an time I put into it already money well spent. 😍😍😍😍

I changed the oil the other day an running mobile 1 full synthetic now with a mobile 1 oil filter. Smooth running

nice car man looking good, i dont know if you remember me or not but i finally got my car running, i changed the plugs, wires, oil and filter, now its back firing out the intake where the EGR metal tube connects to, i thought i had chris cross the spark plug wires but i double check them and there in the right firing order.

Thanks man I remember you. Check the iacv an the gasket on top of the intake to throttle body. That plate sits up there. If it leaks it can cause some backfiring through intake too much air not enough fuel to air ratio. Or egr its self too much carbon build up retricting air/fuel flow ratio.

Also be sure your timing is good

If its out of time just enough it can also cause backfire through intake as well.

@@amberericjones5694 thanks man, it was all good til i changed everything, i let it run for 15 mins, turn off, next day i started her up, then it just started back firing, i check the plugs and there very black, i only run the car for 15 mins.

Eric, can you do a video on how the passenger side wiring loom - the main one - is routed - is the plastic ribbed 1.5 inch loom resting on top of the motor mount or routed underneath the motor mount? I took my engine out and not sure how that big fat main trunk routes around the exhaust and motor mounts on passenger side

we have the same engine, a metal tube that runs from the EGR to the intake, Do you know the size of the bolts that the metal tube bolts to the intake? I think i ask you this before, I tired looking for the question but i could not find it, i hope you can help me again, I almost got my car running the right way.
