When I bought my first VHS I went to a little local shop with a JVC SuperVHS on sale. I talked to the seller, and he convinced me about it was the one I should buy. I asked him to give me two video recorders and he had to go to the back room to call my bank asking them to confirm that I could pay for the two videos! They were VERY expensive! Then I asked him to call a cab, to bring me home with my two new video recorders. He looked scared! Did I have so much money! 😊 I don’t think Beatles ’64 comes on a official DVD or Blu-ray. It’s a Disney+ exclusive! Like Let it Be. With two computers/tablets you can set the one to play and the other one to record. Easy! Have a gooood day! Love your videos!

Hey Beatle Brad, It’s Always Great to watch a video of yours!!! I remember getting The Complete Beatles for Christmas in 1980Somthing!! lol. That was the Go to untill the anthology I saw the Beatles first vist first I believe on the original Disney Channel (it had a different name) and I skipped the dvd release. I watched Beatles 64 and enjoyed it but there were some parts that had me scratching my head LOL. Anyway thank you for the video GOD Bless you and the Mrs. Take care Brad!!

I choose BOTH of them. Beatles 64 and The Frist US Visit are both must haves in my book. The Compleat Beatles was fine for it's day, but the Anthology beats that to shreds.

1:40 - The "Compleat" Beatles was my first resource to listen to Beatles.I watched this video very late (in 1990), I was a teenager at the time and it was trending at the time for people to listen to the Beatles, they brought records to class, etc. Anyway, I don't understand why MGM/Apple doesn't remaster the original prints (with Peter Jackson and his team in charge) and release them via stream/bluray. Thanks for your video! 😃

I'm glad you enjoyed the new doc, Brad. But honestly, I think I can easily skip it from what I've heard so far. I'm satisfied with watching the original US Visit DVD and the Ed Sullivan performances to relive 1964 Beatlemania. I'd rather hear and see footage of the Beatles themselves than have a documentary with a bunch of people talking about them.

Hi mate I have the Complete Beatles on VHS which I converted over to DVD. Also when DVD hit our Australian shores one of the first discs I grabbed was The Beatles 'The First US Visit" same as yours but differentcover (black and white shot of them waving as they step of the plane} I wont be buying (if it is releasd) of the recent doco as it only has about 15 mins of actual footage whereas my disc has 83 mins of The Boys.
