I have very little due to my work commitments. So my project just keeps stalling. Watching how long you take to create your work makes me feel do much better… custom work takes forever, I just have to remember this. Admirable work sir. I love it.

Great job! I like watching the thought process in the fabrication.

Great stuff! Love the re-use of the factory brackets. FWIW- If you use Cerakote, you'll have a fraction of the thickness on those engine struts etc. And it's much tougher than powder coat. There's a great provider in your neck of the woods.

LOL those Harbor Frieight files make great car theft keys too. My 81 Scirocco was stolen twice in the last 5 years and after recovery the make shift keys were left in the car.

Wow, Chris - awesome build. I didn't even know your channel existed, ran across it by chance. Looking forward to seeing the completed project. Wished my 914 ('HOWARD') didn't get banged up a few years ago, but s#it happens. (euro911)

I have never seen the clicker work! Cool!

Working with Pandora is my wife's first attempt with the clicker. We've been impressed at how quickly our ink spot kitty picked it up.

@10:32 Q. Will it look factory? A. Or better. Sometimes the factory stuff doesn't look as finished as your mods.

Factory for the win (almost always) Are you welding the elevator bolt to the mounting bracket? Smart kitty too. Great video Chris!
@attheredbarn16692 ай бұрын
The elevator bolt won't be used. The cross-brace will be welded to that factory cowl brace.

The bracket is a good idea ...although... you do run the risk of it (bracket) looking so stock, that is looks like you have just bolted it onto a convenient existing bracket ... not like there was thought and design put into where it should go. Now I know you have thought lots about it ..its just a aesthetic risk I have faced in the past.

I like to put stuff like that in the "if you know, you know!" category. I would love to have my work mistaken for factory! ;-)
