I think the 13 pro or 14 pro is the sweet spot for iPhones right now. The 13 pro is really good for around $450 with promotion. The 14 pro for about $500-600 used is also a really good deal as it added a lot of new features like 48mp camera, Dynamic Island, better 5g antenna, always on display and 2000 nits brightness

Yeap I just bought my son his first iphone and went with the 13 pro. He's been an Android user for about 3 years and wanted to switch because most of his friends have an iphone. Best decision ever, thinking about making the switch too. He loves it BTW!!

I have a 14 Pro max still going strong! 93% battery health, 2 day battery life, 120hz refresh, can’t ask for more though I may get the 16 pro max just for the newer better dual 48 MP camera system and the camera button because i am a youtuber and could appreciate the better camera system.

Hello Josh, great video as always. I’ve bought an SE 3 in summer 2023 because my iPhone 13 mini took a dive into the toilet. When iPhone 16 was announced, I looked for an iPhone 15 Pro. I bought it cheaper than the iPhone 16 entry level would cost me. I don’t regret it. It’s a fantastic iPhone with more features than the entry level 16. For people out here looking for an iPhone I would recommend searching for deals online. There are many stores that sell iPhone 15 Pro for a great price. Sure, it’s still a lot of money so if you looking for something cheaper, look at the 13 Pro on the secondhand or refurbished market place. The iPhone 13 series still have the best battery life of any iPhone. Good luck 🍀

i bought an iPhone 13 Pro for $699 AUD and it is a great model for those who don't want to spend upwards of $2000 on a phone. It has a great screen and camera and should last me for many years to come. They are great value right now and aren't super different to the 16 series minus the slight camera differences and Ai stuff which I'll never use

iPhone SE 2 2020 128GB RAM is a great 2nd phone and runs smoothly on IOS 17.7. The battery runs out quickly with heavy use but charges quickly too! It feels good in the hand but the screen resolution is a bit low and obsolete nowadays, I still like this phone and it fairly cheap too!

Picked up a 14 pro on fb a couple weeks ago for $300. Has a hairline crack on the back panel, 128g, fully unlocked of course, couldn’t be happier with the deal I scored. I love that it still has lightning because a lot of companies are doing clearance on them due the the switch to usbc

I have had my 16 Plus for less than 2 weeks and I’m happy with the physical and software upgrades from my 15 Plus. It was getting sluggish and had horrible battery life recently. Plus the ultramarine blue just drew me in so much.

In my country, most of the models are still available in new conditions. We don't have an Apple store here, only an authorized one. The 16 series lineup is still in "coming" So they are still selling 15, 14, 13, and 12 in new conditions. But they are also still selling 15 pro, 15 pro max, and 11 in clearance.

Well done comprehensive review. I'm in NZ & the new 16 phones start at $1600 (non pro models). My 12 mini works well & even easily lasts the day for my use (I have a car with a wireless charge pad). Having just put a small crack in the screen I'll wait to see if the SE4 ever appears & at that time look to get it or a 13 mini with a new battery most likely.

As a long term Pixel user I recently decided to get an iPhone as a backup for long term overseas travel. Initially I was looking at used 13 Pros and also considered a 15 256Gig but finally settled on a base 16 128Gig. My reasoning was the extra 2Gig of RAM and the A18 vs the A15 or A16 on the 13 Pro or 15.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus that I’ve owned for four years and it’s at a pretty decent 73% battery health. I’m upgrading to a 15 in the middle of October and while I’m not a fan of USB-C charging, I can live with it due to the fact that I have a PS5 console that requires those connections for charging my controllers so it won’t be that much of a pain for me. I have a 7th generation iPad and 6th generation iPod Touch so I’ll still have usage for the Lightning cables for those devices. I’ll have to get used to the home button being gone alongside the newer features and bigger screen as my current phone is at 5.5” and I know the iPhone 15 will be at 6.1” so that’ll take a bit to get used to but I feel like I’m hitting the sweet spot without things being too overwhelming for me.

i live in brazil and iphones are extremely expensive here. i got a 14 last month for about 800 dollars (4400 brazilian reais) and the price difference here is insane, so it was the best i could get. im very satisfied so far and plan on keeping it until its no longer supported

I got a used SE3 for $100 and OMG its such a good deal at that price. I've been rocking a Samsung and its been good. But Android doesn't support all of the apps I use and legacy iPod docking mode is the only way to get lossless audio streaming in my 2015 Ford other than buying physical media. So at that price it makes a good work phone.

Personally, I really like my iPhone SE 3. It’s not for everyone, but I’m personally happy Apple still makes it. I found an iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case on eBay and the battery lasts me all day, just wish Apple still made that case.

The iPhone XR and XS is probably only getting one more year of updates and no more iOS updates, as the iPhone X is still on iOS 16. Probably something I'd avoid. Maybe keep it for the next year if you already have it and it still works.

I haven’t noticed any instance so far. The battery has been stellar as well. Usually lasts me 12-16 hours before it dips to 20% and I have to charge.

I have an 8 Plus, owned it for four years and it’s at 73% battery health. If you upgraded to a 12, then I think that would still be a pretty solid upgrade although you have to watch out for battery life issues and touch sensitivity problems with those phones. I’m getting the 15 which I know will be a massive upgrade for me but from my research I’ve done on them, they have fixed the screen burn-in and overheating problems so I’m confident I’ll be very safe with what I’ll get since it’s a year after launch by the time I’m getting it.
