Ive been suffering wity this for the last four months.. Heart racing, handd and feet felt sweaty. Churning chest and stomach.But the worst is the doom thoughts.I suffer with health anxiety which got worse sfter s couple of bereavements. Im so fed up feeling like this.This morning i just kept repeating to myself they are just thoughts. I read something similar yesterday just focus on living and not the symptoms andi found I became calmer. Its early days. If i can do one morning at a time. Not going to be easy , i think i feared this happening every morning and consequently its turned into habit. Ok seems my body waits for my brain to kick in with the thoughts and then the physical symptons start.. so im going to do my best to let it be.

It kicks in automatically because anxiety is a systemic and autonomic condition. It will be there until it isn't. The only thing you can do is wake up and engage your mind as quickly as possible.

This is so me every morning. I wakeup to so much fear. If I sleep early. I wakeup at 03am. I will stay awake. So I would rather sleep past midnight and wakeup at 06am. I know it's not good practice, but anxiety has really messed everything

Anyone else get tinnitus noises on waking up as one of the symptoms? Seems like once the cortisol settles, it goes away but I'm not sure if it's related to GAD or not?

Thank you for this information. I've been experiencing this horribly lately and it ruins my entire day. I also keep getting very fragmented and disturbing dreams just before I wake up. Is this related?

What about earworms. Cant stop the song in the head. Its frustrating. Apart from above symptoms discussed.
@bb-nd4eoКүн бұрын
Don't pay attention to it ..let it be there . With time it won't be there once your stress is at normal level. The more you focus on it the more It will play. It's a part of the anxiety disorder.its more common than you think. If possible watch this video by Coach daniel erichsen interviewing a guy named Romi. They talk in some detail about earworms
