📖 Our Story:
We bought this stone house in Italy during the pandemic in 2020. The house was a ruin and we saved everything we could, unfortunately that meant only four stone and clay walls! The back wall, against the terrain, was close to collapse; the roof beams were eaten and basically reduced to dust; the inside separation walls were easily taken down and the whole project turned into a heavy renovation/rebuild.

Love the look, now the nightmare of keeping the stainless clean without streaks begins, my advice, get used to the streaks quickly, it will save a lot of polishing that wastes a lot of time.

Im curious, what will you do if an appliance, a pot or a pan dents the stainless? When this happens to refrigerators or dishwashers you can just order a new skin. I don’t wish this on you. Just wondering if you’ve already figured out what you’ll do

The doors surprised me in their simplicity. They compliment the stand for the stove heater, but lack the beauty of the ancient door to the bath and laundry area. They do allow for you to focus on the beautiful stone work so it is a win win!

Your precision and attention to detail is really such a pleasure to watch. Given your aesthetic, I think the stainless looks great. My only thing? By putting the clear caulking along the line at the bottom, it still kind of looks like there is a gap. I would find a caulking that is as close to the color of your countertops and grout it with that to fill in the 'gap' between the two. Those doors were put on masterfully.

Ciao le porte sono belle l'unica pecca che io la maniglia esterna l'avrei fatta di incastro e nn avanzava fuori ed era tutto liscio come la parete.
