Hello Granny. I have fallen in love with you, with your channel, your reminences, your stories. You are quite wonderful. You are also so beautiful and that goes further then skin deep. You have a beautiful, peaceful soul and how blessed we are that you have chosen to share yourself with all of us. You say getting all this attention at your age brings you to tears, but I will tell you, that statement brought me to tears. People do not appreciate the elderly as they should and that is very sad. After all, the knowledge, the love and the lessons we can impart has meaning! The younger ones need to listen to us older wiser ones. The world would be a better place if they would. I thank you for sharing your wisdom and love with all of us. You are special. Bless you.

Happy belated birthday! You certainly look pretty in pink, reminding me of The Queen . Paris is on my bucket list too. Thanks for the info on the spoon brooch. That may solve the mystery of the one found in my Mom's dresser. She passed away in 2020 at the age of 89. I miss her every day, especially today as it is Mother's Day. You take care Granny Pat.

My daughter lived in a handicapped apartment her freshman year of college. She helped roommates with wheelchairs, dressing and meals. In the winter she shoveled snow off of the side walks so the wheelchair kids could get to class. They were her friends. That is when I knew that I raised her right and she had a heart of gold. Not everyone her age would have been happy living where she did. She thrived! So proud of her. A great story today. ❤😊

You wanted people to comment about themselves so here I am. I know this video is 4 months old, but I’ve been watching all your videos while piddling around the house. I’m Terri, but my parents named me Teresa. I’m 40 years young. My mother wasn’t in my life because she wasn’t fit to be a mother, so I was raised by my father who eventually had the help of his parents; my grandparents. When my dad moved to another town, I’d have to go to another school and I didn’t want that - so I lived with my grandparents from middle school all the way until I graduated high school. My grandmother was a mother to me, so these videos draw me in. She’s 84 years old and my grandfather is 87. They’re both in great health and I’m so thankful to God for that. I’m happily married to a man for the past 12 years who served in the Navy for over a decade and got out three years ago to start his professional career. We don’t have kids. That was a choice he and I made together. It just wasn’t for us although we do have two small dogs called pugs. Harriet and Jiggy. About nine years ago, I suffered my first panic attack. It got so bad that they diagnosed me with something called “agoraphobia”. It can mean a few things, but for me it meant I was scared to go more than a mile from my home. I battled this for several years but am now on the other side of it thank the Lord. I’m a stay at home wife which I absolutely adore. My biggest goal in life was to make a house a home so that’s what my husband I have done. We bought a home that was built in 1955 and is “up to date/rehabbed” in 2016 when we bought it. One of our favorite things to do is go to estate sales and antique malls. We have plenty of them where we are - which is Norfolk, VA/Virginia Beach, VA. I’m from northern VA in a town called Warrenton. It’s famous for Robert E Lee having lived there. His house there still stands today. That’s also where my family still lives. I could sit here and tell you all sorts of stories about myself, but something I will tell you is that your videos give me hope. I pray one day to be able to pass down stories from “my generation” so that our times in this life aren’t lost like so many seem to be. My grandparents are my best friends, so I’ve told them about your channel and they’ve even watched your videos. So now they sit on FaceTime on their iPad with me and tell me stories so I can pass those down to friends and whoever. Please keep making videos. You are loved.

🎉❤Happy Birthday, Mrs. Pat. I hope you have a great one! I love your videos. You are funny, charming, pretty, witty, and pretty sharp! I absolutely love listening to your stories. I am a 60-year old housewife. I have been married, to the same man, 36-years on July 3rd, 2023. We were not blessed with any children, but we have our furbabies. Maximus is our 10-year old Chiweenie. Part Chihuahua, and part weenie dog. He is a sweetie, and we spoil him to pieces. We live on a cattle farm. My husband raises Angus cattle. The farm we live on has been in my husband's family for over 150 years! We live in Middle Tennessee, about 55 miles southeast of Nashville. My husband is gone a lot during the day and I am alone with just me and Master Maximus. You see I am disabled from Fibromyalgia, Sciatica, Degenerative Joint Disease, and Psoratic Arthritis. I can not do like I use too, which makes me very frustrated, and aggravated. I love to cook. I am an only child. Both of my parents died very young. Daddy was just barely 49 in 1978, and I was 15. Mama died in 1998 at the age of 57, and I was just 36. We were such a happy family. I miss my parents so terribly bad...every day. Anyway, I just love you, and you give me a lot of pleasure to watch. Thanks😊❤. Tammy

Happy birthday, Granny Pat! Just happened upon your channel the other night…my husband is recently retired & we just started our first antique booth back in February. We are having a blast!! I love all your stories…you remind me a lot of my mama in that respect.❤️ She passed away a year ago…she would’ve been 83 this year. Keep sharing your antiques & all the stories!!! (I especially loved the fiesta ware story 😉)

The pin is very unique and I love it. My high school had an alumnus make a silver pin for us, it was a lily flower. Happy Birthday 🎉

Thank you, Granny Pat, for the straightforward talk. This is my first video of yours to watch. Older folks need to share their life stories with the younger people and their families. I started a channel so my children can visit for the memories when I'm gone. I loved the story about your spoon pin. The jewelry is beautiful. Oh, the story of the fiesta ware is gold!! Thank you for sharing, Granny Pat! Yes, I approve of your video!

Thank you! You will find several videos suitable for your children. Some offer a bit of (family) history good for ‘show and tell’ at school.

Hi Pat Oh my goodness your chat today had me in stitches🥳 I am 80 now and have got past the stage of piling on the makeup. I’m just so tired that my arms ache. Eyebrows eyelashes have been nonexistent for a while now. I am past caring. Go through all that palaver for people to look and say’Mutton dressed as lamb’ I have better things to do with my time now and you Pat are a breath of fresh air and in touch with the realities of growing older. 💚😊

Happy Birthday! You are a natural born storyteller. I really enjoy it. I love your soft pink top , necklace and neat matching eyeglasses. You're a standout. That's why the former classmate remembered you after all these years. You leave warm impressions along your path. You're adorable.

Hi Granny Pat, I just subscribed to your channel and I love your witty personality. I started my Fiestaware collection in 1998. Love it! And I would love to see your collection and hear stories about it. I thought your story about the flying dish was hilarious. My Mom had 11 children, I am the youngest of 8 girls and I love hearing about your younger day. You have a beautiful spirit ☀️😊💐
