Yep. That's exactly what mine was! Glad it helped. Hoping to get the compression figured out on it sooner than later. Hoping its only got some carbon buildup on the valves and the just need to be cleaned up. Its just the front and back cylinders that are low. The thing runs but sounds like it has a miss and seems to burn oil. Probably rings.

Check the engine to pump rubber coupling. It is a constant source of disaster. Tighten the bolts and allen screws.

How can you mow with out the front deck wheels ?

It has rear wheels on the deck and the hydraulics hold the front up.

I agree. Im thinking that its blow by. Rings need replaced. Hone the cylinders too. Be nice if it was just in need of a valve adjustment or valves seals only. Maybe some buildup of carbon the valves or something....hoping to tear into it soon. I did get a diesel compression tester kit to get an accurate reading. Ive just been so busy with other tasks.
