94-97 Ford 7.3 diesel fuel pump removal, easy peasy!

ok, first I'm aware that the "nut" is actually a bolt, banjo bolt more accurately. Secondly, it's really easier to just loosen the bolt loosened by the ratchet by hand, as, once broken loose, it will easily loose by hand, or a small 1/4" air ratchet with adapters...or small ratchet.
Also, many people think it's necessary to remove the turbo for this, but this is, as you see, unnecessary.
I did remove the fuel filter housing, as that does have to come off anyway. That's actually the hardest part of the job!

Oh, and lots of Vaseline on that inner washer! Promise to do that video in another f.pump r/r on that very same truck (he makes his own biofuel and really goes through pumps, they say his blend has maybe too much lye in it).

Interesting… Mine is much cleaner and it took a breaker bar and both feet in the fender to get mine off.

Ah yes, the banjo bolt! The inner washer has to sit on the tiny ledge built into the line while keeping slight pressure with one hand and pushing the bolt and other washer with the other hand...but that's another video.

How did you get the bolt back on and lined up?

i used a 32 mil wrench worked way easier than trying to use a socket and wratchet
