hey Brandon Marks... I would love to know more details about this build and what needs done (like for starters, I think the transmission needed rebuilt)... maybe I could talk to you guys if I end up doing this. thanks. Also, because I've only owned 16V before...is there any real drawback with the 8v trionic vs. a T16 trionic? thanks... Could you guys upload videos and descriptions of the car in it's current state? it's useful info

@Hitchelfitkyle with a stock engine they last for decades, but they can't handle boost. The b201 produces more torque then the 16V if it's properly turbocharged, especially in low rpm.

@@Hitchelfitkyle so you wouldn't recommend keeping the original old 900 gearbox with this setup then? I guess if I'm restoring a car I would want the setup to be durable.... I guess the problem is you wouldn't be able to tell if an old transmission would hold up for an hour or 5 years huh? thanks

@@pawpawbandit3871 good morning! The transmission in this car failed shortly after this edit. He swapped it out and sold the car. They just can’t handle the power even if your just rolling into the power.

Stock head gasket and head bolts or arp head studs?

I don't know about the b201s and 2s, but a Saab guru told me that what kills the direct successors (b2x4) are the head gasket. and he also recomended new head bolts
