First time on your channel and this was a really egood video! You show this process without any bs. Right to the point and very well organized. I would recommend you take an old piece of carpet to lay on under those big machines. That surface can be very uncomfortable with jagged stones poking you in the ribs. lol! Keep up the good work!

Good content. Tough angles. Can’t see a lot.

Thanks for the good info though. You obviously have done this a lot. I just think for people that don’t work on this heavy of equipment you might be missing out on showing them some of the between steps. What the oil should look like? What type or weight of oil. How many quarts?

Best practice. Remove the fill plug first. A functioning over due for service machine is always a grade above inop. Be the guy that schedules down time, not causes it.

@@Failure_Is_An_Option removing the fill plug first can get you covered in oil if the machine has been running in this case it was not , you would not believe how far back warm gear oil can go with a large volume behind it

@@Iron-cowboys Do it your way. You don't know the fill level prior. You don't report the axle leak. In your hypothetical you don't report a blocked vent which is the only way those cavity's can be pressurized.

@@Failure_Is_An_Option there was no axle leak or blocked vent I believe you are thinking of a 966 with a center pumpkin fill plug then what you’re saying would make sense to me
