Definitely a great idea for opening the glass hatch. I was at a salvage yard yesterday, there was no way I would have climbed through the pile of trims, seats, mouldy carpet etc, to release the hatch at the release rod. Luckily for me, the hatch had already been unlocked when someone took the latch. Great videos mate, greetings from Australia.

How to take off the rear bumper to replace left side broken tail light housing please.2001 CRV rd
@hondaresource2 жыл бұрын
I don't have a video for it, but it's pretty straight forward. A couple clips on the bottom, 1 screw in each wheel well where the bumper meets the quarter panel. If you have mud guards, remove the Phillips screws from them. Open the rear cargo door, there are several clips there and 2 10mm bolts

@andrewvang21182 жыл бұрын
@@hondaresource the tailgate push up knobs ,for example like for the front door ,the little pulled up little knobs pin you lock and unlocked to get in and out..I call it knob because it a big push button for the tailgate, for mine crv it a black color push knob.after you used the key to release the glass window and for the tailgate to open you have to use the handle from the back that holds the back license plate, just like the all the door you need to push this black button to release the tailgate to open

@johngoepel52632 жыл бұрын
Or you could just fold a rear seat down, climb in the back, open the square plastic maintenance door in the rear door panel, reach in and pull the horizontal rod there to the side. The glass will pop right open. Requires zero tools and takes 60 seconds max. You can either: 1. Crawl for 3 feet in an SUV, pull 4"x4" plastic square off, tug on latch rod or... 2. Bring specifically a 12v battery pack to the yard, kneel on the junkyard ground while carefully popping out a switch under the dash by squeezing clips you can't see, then carefully squeezing the switches harness clips, then have cut and stripped wire prepared, wrap around battery, and insert the wires into the correct holes. Really nicely made video, and I'll definitely check out his other videos, but unfortunately the content here is complete overkill, and also requires the wiring and rear latch motor to still be functional.
