Cool video 👍 Not many Mitsubishi maintenance videos. Parts look the same as on my 03 Corolla 👍 🙏 😎 🙏 👍

For the price, delivered, very rare I go to local parts stores. I believe the heat curing process if for painting manifolds. You'll be good to go for years, once that fluids sucked out. I like to use a dollar store turkey baster, and a $10 amazon one way bleeding tube. 👌

Yea, the paint was for manifold, so the instructions for baking were 350°f / 650°f etc.. I'm changing my turbo manifold, so I actually bought it for that. I was at the store earlier and saw the turkey baster, but opted for some syringe instead.

Thanks for making these videos. I own a mirage de coupe as well, and find info on them isn't the easiest.

Not the most popular car out there, but still very fun and reliable!

@@GTsPerformance That's why I got mine. I liked how unique it was. Bought it off this older guy that put some work into it, and he threw in tons of extra parts from his friends car he parted out that was wrecked. Including a spare motor. So that was quite a deal.

@Pure Metro I bought mine from an older gentleman, but unfortunately it was already rear-ended.. Luckily, I only paid $600 for it! That's why I call it the "Lab-Rat". With this car, I experimented with rustoleum paints, basecoat & clears over oil based, I learned about turbochargers, and pretty much everything I put into this car 😅

@@GTsPerformance Still not a bad deal. I paid 2,000 for mine but with the extra motor and parts I think it was a good price.

Glad to see another video bro.

You could have used evo 4 rotors and Oz calibers. They are bigger brakes. Than the 97 mirage. Also the Oz brake hose

GT, I was wondering if the larger wheels caused the pads to wear out sooner? You might have gotten away with having the discs turned but I know from experience that the more meat on the rotors the better to prevent warping and a pulsing brake pedal. Great video!

To be honest, this is the first time I replaced the brakes on this car ever since I bought it a few years ago. The bigger wheels could have taken part in it, but no way to be sure. I noticed uneven wear on the pads.. maybe suspension parts need replaced also

So I have a 99’ DE Sedan. If I want to upgrade to the 256mm rotors and pads, do I need to get Caliper, bracket, and brake hoses from a LS Mirage?

Only thing I didn't see was any anti-seize between the rotor and the hub flange, not to knit pick but that's one thing I always do so the rotors rotors are easily removed

I see your point! I need to get some brake fluid from the auto-parts store to replace the one on the reservoir, I'll pick up some anti-seize while I'm there 👍

Do you still have the other shop that's not at your house

Yes, I still have it! But I'm not working from it, currently. I'll make a quick video later on today showing the status
