#98 Determine the strangely shaped white oak whose trunk has strangely split and reattached itself!

I wanted to make the most of this shape, so I was worried! ! How about something like this? ! !

子供の頃材木商のところでまい日のように遊んでイアタのでこの動画を見ると懐かしくて涙がこぼれてきます。あの頃は丸鋸で随分と後の頃になって帯鋸担ったように記憶しているのだが、材木が切れる音ときはだがきれいな木肌に変わって行くのが何とも言えないくらいすきで学校を休んででもみていました。 台車のトロッコはいいですねこの前は一晩中見ていました。癒やされます。

無理なこじつけで妄想する私でも　これは・・・・お手上げです（笑） お父さんが思案に暮れるのが　よく解ります。 仰るように子供が遊動円木（ご存じないかなぁ）のように跨るのに丁度いい太さですね。 皮剥いて・・・何か浮かんでるのでしょうか・・・楽しみです。 硬い樫の磨き上げた肌は素敵でしょね！

I have milled lots of White Oak but have not had any with that much salting. good looking Oak.

Its unlike any white oak in the states has lots of spalt that developes before the tree rots gives it great character i would cut a slab with the opening and incorporate slats into it that are spaced apart would make a awsome bench.

Also spalted maple is used for making electric guitar bodies: the wood must be stabilized in most cases.
