A few weeks ago I thought it was time to look for a newer truck. Spent one day out and about plus looking at the inter web and silly me got the shock that scared the hell out of me. Basically one has to give up their first born to buy a truck. Anyway I say all this, I’m a proud owner of a 2001 Ford Excursion which for its age is in great shape. Last year my son and I went through this truck which basically started with jacking up the radiator cap and drive a new one under it. The interior is leather and looks great. The only thing we didn’t restore was the body, which is black and flawless. We’ve owned this truck since new. It’s part of the family like giving up one’s favorite dog. It’s a keeper. I’m staying with my Excursion cause I know it and I can fix it if needed. Just talking cause mine looks like the one you’re fixing. The old Ford is like a tank and it will take me anywhere I point it and bring me back in classic style. Thanks for your channel.

Procomp 22210 front leaf for lees truck. 154 dollars each. They are a tapered leaf. Ride really nice. It says 2 inch spring lift but more like 4 from stock. Will sit like it does now with a little lower front. Your truck might need 6 inch lift spring to get it where its at. I have procomp on both my f350s because the ride great

I’ve been battling my ignition system changed starter, starter solinoid, ignition switch and neutral safety switch. It’s starts way faster and better now but won’t start with the key. Only cranks when I jump the solinoid. Any ideas what it could be? I’m stumped.

I also run the 315 toyos on the stock 16s. Absolutely love them! What size rear block did you guys end up using?
@AutomedicGarage10 күн бұрын
@@johnhughes5568 I’ll have to go back and look, I believe I did a 2” shackle in the front with the ad a leaf that was already in place and 3” block in the rear but removed the factory block which gave him about 1/4-1/2” of rake
