Yea read top and blue top are both great. This was actually a brand new unit, not remanufactured.

BlueTop is back up and running. Have been for at least 3-4 months

I heard the front axel U joints can go bad and bind causing some wander in the steering as well.

Yes, if I’m 4x4 or if your locking hubs are stuck in “locked” mode other wise they don’t turn at all.

Yes indeed as usual you're right brother. I went thru 3 steering boxes in a year before my dumbass realized it was the U-joints and everything else, except the steering box😂 that was back around 2009 and guess what, tonight I just got my front-end up on jack stands fixin to tackle it again. New brakes, bearings, rotors, seals, ball joints, U-joints and all new drags, sway links, EVERYTHING! Lol. I was wanting to come out your way Drew but with bidenonmics in full swing I'd hafta take out a loan. But i gotta say, I'ma gettin edjumakatid by the bestest!!!😂 Have a Blessed day my friend 🙏 Jay👍👍

I know what he's talking about thats how mine felt and I did the same thing except I added 3 leafsprings in the front instead of the two it comes with and new shocks and it fix it👍

I didn’t, change anything, I told him it wouldn’t. He has wore out rear springs. Truck is sagging in the back and feels mushy in the rear when you drive it.

I put a 6.7 steering gear in my 2005. That’s the way to go. Much easier and much tighter steering. The 6.0 gear looks like a Ranger steering gear next to the 6.7.l gear.
