Still going to get underused. There isn't nearly as much of a learning curve and unless something is do (x) more damage 90% of gamers just don't care for it. Part of the reason I even enjoy support/tanky characters is because so few even play it. The other part is when you do get good at them people look at you like a god. lol

@@gibster9624 Totally agree. One of the biggest DPS increases you can get is the ability to just do your thing without worrying about dying, and not enough people think that way.

@@Dorvarich I absolutely agree, I haved mainedd solar warlock for a long time because of its healing, but im heavily debating switching to titan, and it also kind of perfectly timed with me realising im trans, ive used warlock for years, and if i switch id be transitioning classes around the same time i do with my gender, wich ik is random and pointless, just thought it worked out kind of cool

You might want to consider Explosive Personality for your waveframe. It has Land Tank for another 5% damage resist.

I also recommend giving Throne-Cleaver a try, it's very good. With Tireless Blade, and then enhanced Incandescent it melts adds and you can make ignitions happen pretty often with it. A heavy attack at full War Banner and Surge mod stacks hits VERY hard and then explodes with Incandescent if anything dies. It also lets you use an exotic primary to help with generating more ammo from the finder.

Don't forget you can do 2 full powered heavy attacks back to back rn. Just jump for the first one and make sure you are on the ground for the 2nd one.

Yeah. Throne Cleaver plus Monte Carlo (for melee energy) is a great combo. I quite like using an incandescent Kelgorath Glaive at same time.

I really like playing strongholds. Do it with threadling grenade, fragment that gives threadlings on finisher with finisher shield armor mod. And the strand sword with hatchling and you can literally just block and finish shit and have threadlings killing everything. It’s hilariously fun.

Tried this build and all the other ones. This one’s the best for survivability but once you run out of sword ammo, it’s ggs. Definitely not my style though as I hate swords and glaives. Looks cool though! Appreciate the time and effort my guy. 🤙🏼

Alright lets do the DR calcs: 95% from block, 50% from strongholds, 30% from tier 10 resil, 60% from woven mail, and -40% damage dealt from sever. Combine it all and you have around 47 thousand effective hitpoints. Banner of war will also be giving you around 7 thousand EHP per second. Truly, you can become the raid boss.

Good build! I use Strongholds with Lament on solar, paired with Ammit, and the fragments for increased restoration time and solar ability/gun final blows increase the time, and it’s just constant Restoration x2 and then consecration with boom boom ignition fragments and it’s just a happy time. Obviously strand is much better, but Solar is fun!

@@OutbreakPerfectDvJ i joined light fall i mean kinda new ...used hoil most ....i remember first time i tried strong holds then i cant use another exotic....now i fell in love with lament it is good on hunter too ...i feel that the more you play with controlled aggression the more you enjoy the game .....so i made build on every sub class an the weakest one is arc .....but you have better add clear on other subclasses other than strand ...... On solar you can start an unending cycle of roaring flames x 3 with 2 x restoration..... On void the weakning gernades plus devour and bastion feels sooo good And i enjoyed most on bhemoth till they nerfed rime and chill clip The most pain full moment is the terrible tracking of lament ....its pain its really pain and make you waste ammo some times ......

How do you manage the heavy ammo ? Once you run out arent you just kinda struggling ? I needed to use a glaive to make up for it but you can’t always do that due to artifacts this season

Im use only lament with strong holds with double specials ......you get more heavy when you have more than 50 lament ammo and less than 10 more than 1 ammo ......my observation....scavanger is must and shot gun for majors use abilities with special weapon on and heavy stowed you wont face much ammo problems

With solar you can get infinite uptime on the restoration x2 which is better healing, but you don't get woven mail or the damage buff Gonna grind out strand with the solar version

only downside to running this buld is that once you run out of sword ammo you are just a guy with a weakened strand titan subclass and no heavy weapon. highly recommend running with cenotaph/aeons. also worldline zero got a buff and can compare to lament for damage, while also synergising with arc surge mods with forbearance but does not have the better block that lament does.
