Only maintenance you should do regularly is to clean or replace cabin air filter and clean condenser coil, don’t do anything else unless you have issues in ac system, just refer owners manual don’t waste money and create more problems by listening this person!

There’s no good or bad refrigerant, only different types like R12,R134A or R1234yf all types have different prices,always replace with the same type your vehicle came with,never open sealed system or connect gauges and hoses that can contaminate system with moisture will lead to acid buildup and ruin your car AC,think about your window ac or refrigerator are you changing gas or oil every 2 to 3 years most of the time never. Please don’t give publicity to this kind of wrong information.👮🚔
