The one thing I can say is Milwaukee has truly stepped up the game for quality tools. I have had almost every other tool on the market over the 50 plus years and almost every other tool I own has given up or was done within a short time. Milwaukee on the other hand has just kept going and going. I can't say enough about the Milwaukee brand of tools, they are the best of the best tools in the industry today. Thank up and Milwaukee for bring all of us the reasons we buy the best. Rock

Haha, I've watched a lot of these Milwaukee videos and I like their tools but come one. These sales people they have are pulling sales tactics like crazy and this is just one example. Watch starting at 7:50 when she shows the competition vs the carbide blade. There are 5 screws, left to right. She uses the competition DeWalt and destroys the tip on screw #1, then says, lets see if it can still drive screws. She inserts the tip into the stripped screw and says oh look it doesn't work. When she does the Milwaukee, she grinds the bit own a bit on screw #1, wipes the bit off then says lets see if it can continue to drive screws but conveniently inserts the Milwaukee bit into the non-stripped screw #2 and then #3 and it drives them without issue. I'm sure the competition could have done the same if you did a fair comparison. Freaking shady sales people. It;s hard to believe the contractors and tool review guys that are their filming don't call them out on this crap. Make it honest and fair. Again, look at other videos, the same false sales tactics are everywhere when comparing to the competition. Yea, Milwaukee might be better but they like to fluff the stats a bit with these tactics.

No, you're wrong. There are 6 screws left to right on the bottom row when she starts purposely stripping the head on #1. Look at it again and zoom in. It's the camera angle that makes them look the same. You can see this if you actually pay attention to the #2 screw as the #1 screw bends behind it. Then she moves to try and remove #2.

Anyone else notice on the matrix bits she rounded the screw on her left. Then went to drive the screw in and failed, then rounded the same screw with the matrix bit and then skipped and went to the second one from the left. 🤔 I really love Milwaukee’s products but its false advertising and also when you use the product its below expectation and puts people off.
@bryanmcfarland9675 жыл бұрын
Hi Guys!!! Pretty impressive tests. One question I have is...on the torque test of the new (non-matrix) bit vs a competitor bit, where both m18 fuel impacts set on the same speed? If the competitor was set on Speed #3 and Milwaukee set on say Speed #1 or #2, wouldn't that contribute to the competitor bit breaking faster? Just wondering.
@VCGConstruction5 жыл бұрын
Only difference between the 2 units was the bits!
@xenonram5 жыл бұрын
You can see how fast the competitor's force shots up to thirty something, while the Milwaukee one gradually increased up to 38 lbs much slower. Just remember, these "tests," regardless of which company is demoing them, are all knocked in their favor. What is the "competitor bit." Is it Bosch, DeWalt, Irwin, harbor freight, eBay... Get it? They're going to pick tree absolute weakest one to go against the Milwaukee. Are they the best bits? Maybe. I wouldn't doubt it. But that test would flatten out if it was a bit from another one of those first 3 manufacturers, rather than the last 2. They're marketing, just like every other company does.
@bryanmcfarland9675 жыл бұрын
@@xenonram Hey, great points. I need to re-watch this test again! Thanks! :-)
@bryanmcfarland9675 жыл бұрын
Hey, I just watched that test in slow-motion (just changed the KZbin playback speed) a few minutes ago. The competitor bit broke at about 17.6 while the Milwaukee bit was at 3.5. So, how did the competitor bit arrive at over 5 times the pull (17.6 /3.5 = 5.03) of the Milwaukee so quickly if both impacts were the same make/model (M18 Fuel, I assume) and at the same speed setting? If everything was the same, then maybe the competitor guy was instantly going full-max throttle on his impact while the Milwaukee lady was gradually pulling on her impact throttle? However, from the video, it looks like they both hit the impact button pretty hard. As far as the speed setting, it's hard for me to tell what speed setting each impact was on. Hmmmmm....What do you guys think??? :-)

Sending a picture to a dedicated email address is actually really nice. Whenever tools say they have a warranty i roll my eyes because the hoops arn't worth jumping through. I googled it to find these bits, what I found is hilarious in light of this bragadocious video: Start quote " Milwaukee announced a new type of impact-rated screwdriver bit in 2019, which they called Shockwave Matrix Carbide. Milwaukee intended for their Shockwave Matrix Carbide screwdriver bits to deliver a higher level of wear resistance, and had initial plans for Phillips, Robertson (square), and Torx (star) tip styles in both 1″ insert bit and 2″ power bit lengths. The company was so confident in Matrix Carbide’s wear resistance that that they backed the accessories with a lifetime tip warranty. *The launch and user feedback did not exactly go according to plan, with the entire line discontinued several months later.* ToolGuyd covered the announcement, launch, and discontinuation in several posts, all of which have been combined here, for a consolidated discussion of the short-lived product lineup. Coverage Timeline Matrix Carbide Announcement - January 2019 Deciphering “Matrix Carbide Steel” - January 2019 Clarifying User Applications - May 2019 Matrix Carbide is Discontinued - August 2019 " End quote
