I’m absolutely sold on Milwaukee tools. I have an auto repair shop and have been in the auto repair industry for 36 years. My techs, including myself, rarely use air tools anymore. The only thing my compressors are used for now is basically airing up tires and blowing dirt and dust away. It’s been this way for a couple of years now. From 1/4 to 3/8 ratchets and the impact drivers, to all of our lighting, grinders, drills, the M12 and M18 Fuel tools have been the go to tools for quite a while now, and we’re extremely pleased with the quality and performance.

I have never regretted going to the Milwaukee platform, as everything I have has performed flawlessly. I'm not very gentle to my tools, and they have NEVER let me down. Talking loud about it's on par or better than Snap-on only a few MONTHS down the road from DAY IN DAY OUT service having multiple issues\WARRANTY (ya it's good) THEN there not talking so loud Do you really want to be running to your home improvement center for warranty BS The quality is the issue IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM will it EVER be on par with SNAP-ON I trust the quality & craftsmanship that is second to NONE Snap-on tools ARE the benchmark ALL others try to be but ALWAYS fallshort. When I was in the market for a drill and driver combo set, I was going to go to team yellow (DeWalt), until my coworker and a manager from a separate division in the company I work for, recommended anything BUT DeWalt. My coworker recommended Ridgid, while the division manager recommended Milwaukee. I went with Team Red (Milwaukee) after hearing about their service and decent warranty. Although I do recognize that team orange (Ridgid) has a lifetime service agreement with their products, which is very good. I didn't realize until a bit later, and this video, that TTI owns Milwaukee and manufacturers Ridgid power tools. Now I know why TTI and the listed companies involved are so successful and continuing their road to establish themselves for making Milwaukee, Ridgid, and even team lime green (Ryobi) the best brands out there today. Thank you, Vince!

@@jetah50 it depends how tools are constructed. Old Milwaukee corded brushed tools lasted many years, a few decades even, under hard use. In fact many brushed tools from old days were work horses and some still are. I would suspect the brushless could be more unreliable due to complicated electronics, from concentrated heat and switching transients.

Elu were the Festool of their day and had top quality routers, chop saws, radial arm saws etc. They obviously pumped big money into expanding the Elu operation to handle the growth once they rebranded it as DeWalt. Most DeWalt tools are to this day R&D'd and allot of them manufactured in Germany in what was once Elu.

I'm a home dyi-er and been using dewalts power tools for years now. Haven't had any issues. My dad and father in law is the same, we own a lot of DeWalt tools and haven't had much issues. Switching now is going to be a pain with so much invested. And if only I switch, when we work together and not able to share batteries that is a pain too :( Thanks for the informative video.

I used to be a Porter Cable guy, until Black & Decker DeWalt bought them out and turned those tools into homeowner grade crap (so they wouldn't compete). This guy has impressed me with his turn-around of TTI, and the Milwaukee brand. Besides, I like the color red, so that's what virtually all my tools are now.

They make great tools. I still have batteries that work from 2012 when their FUEL line came out. Only time I break their tools is when I over abuse them. Next I'd go with Makita.

Wow, many people complain when a youtube host carries on about a company. "they are just getting free stuff". You dont seem to need the free stuff, you have a great buisness and are doing ok for yourself. I like hearing about CEO's that blow everyone out of the water. I share your excitement. Keep up the great video's I'm a fan.

I worked for Black & Decker as a Industrial tool Sales Rep. from 1976 till 1985 I worked for AEG from 1985 to 1996. This story has a lot of holes in it. First, did DeWalt never make a drill prior to 1990? B&D sold off everything associate with DeWalt but retain the rights to the name. The Industrial Division was in trouble with its brand awareness and Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita were gaining market share. The big box stores were coming into there own and traditional distribution was suffering because of this. Second, I was at B&D when the Piranaha saw blade came out, it was the unique tooth set of the blade that made it sell. Third, this Galli had to go back to his roots to be successful (Power Tools). Oh, by the way the Corporate Offices of Lowe's is in North Carolina, I guess you can have record sales with this player in your territory.

Did you know? Galli chose DeWalts colors based on his favorite baseball team, the Pirates and his favorite player of all times, Roberto Clemente.

Great video. I will never buy another Black and Decker, Porter-Cable, or DeWalt tool. The marketing they have adopted since Galli left/got fired, is mostly deceptive and misleading. The switch from 18-volt tools and batteries to "20V Max" is the biggest scam in the industry. Ryobi and Milwaukee are killing it! I don't need the pro-level tools of Milwaukee, and the Ryobi tools work just fine for me. All of the 18 volt tools and batteries work with each other, regardless of battery chemistry. All of the new chargers will charge the old batteries.

VCG Construction if he did that he'd be moving to the next company because his board would vote him out before the ink was even dryed. Europes Corp. taxes are too high to make that much money and then have to pay US taxes to bring it home, at least im pretty sure they would have to. Christ France has the highest taxes at something like 70% I heard.

I'm a tool geek guys but I didn't know about the genius behind these brands, thanks for the info, lovin it. There's a line describing DeWalt as "high end DIY-to-Professional", for YEARS I argued w/ a friend that Hilti, Fein & Festool were "master grade", Makita, Bosch & Milwaukee "Pro-grade" & DeWalt, Ridgid & Hitachi "home-to-pro", leaving Ryobi, B&D and newer Skil & Porter cable for the home gamers. What do you guys think?

Makes so much sense now! Remember Milwaukee as the heavey duty tradesman tools. Specializing in our go to sawzalls, 1/2 inch corded drills, also right angle high torque for the plumbing/electrician trades. I have one of the last sawzalls when Atlas Copco owned them. Not that long ago.. Made in USA! Now the new age Milwaukee pro-sumer market has copied the whole Dewalt tool line blade for blade, bit by bit ect. And of course all made in China! You walk in a Home Cheapo these days and they pimp out all the Milwaukee gear when 10-15 years ago were just a few Milwaukie usa tools back then!
