In the lost cave, the amount of rocks in the room tell you which door to go through. Treat them like a clock face. If there are 3, it's 3 o'clock, so go right. 6 doors is 6 o'clock so go down. 9 rocks is 9 o'clock so go left. You get the jist.

Knob took me awhile to figure out and I found out you need to defeat Norman before you can get the black belt or he wont rebattle you at all! And the main reason why i went through all of that is because i was playing a rom hack that if you use the black belt it can evolve machoke into machamp as a evolutionary item
