When eating a cooked mussel, how does one effectively remove the hair part, if it's not yet removed by the cook? Most of the time, I cannot seem to remove it since it's secured by 3-4 chewy-like part. Also not mentioned in this video - is it safe to eat the "black" part of the mussel (I believe it's the poop sack?), to which 1/3 or almost half of the cooked mussel is comprised of?
@KenImduaikiat2 ай бұрын
Fine dining restaurant suppose to remove the hair for you. But you need to check anyway to make sure you dont eat them. I ended up in hospital once because of this.
