That didnt include labourcost, but i spent a lot on specialtools hahaha, i would say i spent around 700Euros now instead of around 5k, because labourcost and original parts are mental, if you cut those two out you will save yourself a lot. Considering that the car was probably around 120k when it was new, I’d repair it for 3-4k. The problem these days is, that if a repair costs more than the car itself, people get rid of it without thinking about the value. I drive an E36 and I don’t know how much I spent on it over the years. I know that it’s well over 4K easily and it’s just a 318i. But the car will be more worth if taken care of since it’s becoming a classic. And i net that the S500 will become such a classic too eventually. I don’t think that you get a decent car (in the realms of an S Class) for the money you are spending. If you spend the money on the repair, you know it’s new and repaired and that you do not have to worry about it. That’s my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
@Blasterman1245 жыл бұрын
@Yalondi Supherfon I agree, I've done alot of body work and I know that all you need there is 2 door skins from a scrap yard and fit and spray, arches will be a bit more tricky but still not difficult really.
