Airbox volume is going to be critical with this build. With it gulping up 600cc of air with every intake stroke, I'd personally fill every available open spot with either airbox or airbox inlet to have a minimum capacity of 2000+cc
@mandrakejake2 сағат бұрын
I agree but to be a pedantic engineer, it won't be exactly 600cc per stroke, it'll be 600 * the volumetric efficiency, which varies depending on harmonics of the system. It can actually be above 100% (over 600cc per stroke) or substantially less.

I noticed that Sean checked to see the front wheel cleared that big expansion chamber when the forks were compressed, good thinking! It will be interesting to see if the 250 air intake will provide enough air for the 600cc engine at higher revs. Look forward to the next one👍

Awesome build, cant wait to see it done. Im curious how it is the worlds first if they already offer it with mount kits for loads of different chassis etc? Wouldnt that suggest that some of them already exist? Or is it some special tricks on yours that makes them different?

It's looking good!! Although for the life of me I can't figure out WHY someone would want a 600cc two-banger MX bike (when the old 500cc two strokes didn't sell worth a damn)....😁😁 Is Sean gonna run this at the Vet MXDN at Farleigh (sp) Castle next year??🤪🤪
@999lazer3 сағат бұрын
Panthera will make kits to kit specific bikes. This was a rolling chassis we had already so they helped us with the design to accomodate their motor. Its fits so well with minimal adjustments, but we are the first to try it in this chassis so there are always a few hurdles to over come.
