Love this channel. As an ex 2 stroke rider who raced from 1976 to 1988 , your videos are always a must watch. The thing that baffles me though is where have all the hills disappeared to on today's motocross tracks ? Even in schoolboy's back in the day we used to race on tracks with big hills and drop offs. Apart from the table tops everything seems so flat now , I guess that's just the way it is. Only Foxhills and Hawkstone when they're used , seem to be the exception.
@mandrakejake3 ай бұрын
I guess it's to reduce the risk of injury, hills are ace but an easy way to stack it hard. Plus they limit visibility for spectators.
@999lazer3 ай бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to watch Dave :-D We live near the Fens so a lot of the tracks we use are out that way and there's not a a hill to be seen for miles and miles lol

Thanks for the reply my friend , keep these great videos coming. Please keep in mind a review test on a 1981 RM125 if you're lucky enough to find one. With it's water cooled motor and full floater suspension this is a bike that signalled a new era in motocross technology and development. The 82 model was exactly the same bike apart from a decal change. Keep up the great work.

Think I had just as much fun watching the races as much as you 2 fella's did riding !!!! Nothing like 2 buddies going at it on these 4 cool rides !!! Sean was railing the guts out of the RM , it was incredible to hear - and my fav bike on the channel " Kong " proving that big 2 strokes still rule the roost !!!! My Kong is a 92 KTM MX 500 that is knicknamed " The Hulk " as my granddaughter calls it incredible hulk LOL !!! Fantastic riding to both you gents - 999lazer is def the most fun and interesting ( with all the diff builds and bikes you share ) on the tube - love this track - wish I could spin some laps on it someday - Now cannot wait to see " grand dad " on the RM 250 - great racing and great bikes today - Congrats Sean for your hard earned win against the fierce competition 🏁 Granddad gone wild - love it 🏁🏁

Wonderful show. Just to hear the two strokes run is nice, especially since the local private tracks in my area have gone away because the 4 strokes carry their sound so far. Also, I can't believe the tracks are so smooth now, and so high speed. Almost like road race on dirt.

Shaun is knarly on the 125! You almost had the T-bone Max? What happened? Lol....great video guys! Loved every bit. As you Max, the RM250 has always been my favorite bikes, but im 53 so the mid 80's til about 92 is where my love affair comes from. I rode a clapped out 79 Yamaha IT175 throughout the 80's but drooled all over the magazines for the RM's. Having one would be my ultimate bike. It would be a blue engine bike though. Anyways thanks for the great channel guys! Cheers from the US....🤙

Race 2 wasn't clean at all, but hey its good for the video and views! I appreciate on a soft loose track that a 60bhp+ 500 two stroke is hard to ride, but you had enough chances to pass on a straight without the dirty move. The 125cc race should have been a straight head to head race as it was so close and the bike doesn't really make the difference.
