hi there , thanks for the video , I have a question , i just bought a mercedes E class w213 with 140000 km , but the previous owner didn t change transmission oil , transmission working fine until now, should i consider transmission oil change or is it too late ?

Hello Georgio Bou Younes, Transmission maintenance or regular oil changes are now recommended by many car manufacturers every 60,000 kilometres or every 4 to 6 years. Depending on the manufacturer, whether DSG (VW), 6HP, 8HP (BMW) or 7G-Tronic/9G-Tronic (Mercedes-Benz 722.9/725.0), the change intervals vary. The transmission oil is permanently exposed to mechanical and thermal stresses. The consequences: increased wear and necessary maintenance. It also depends on the loads to which the vehicle is subjected. For example, if a trailer is frequently towed, the recommended interval is shortened accordingly. Regards, Team VAICO

Hello Georgio Bou Younes, for vehicles with a torque converter, we recommend flushing the whole transmission or draining the oil from the torque converter. On some torque converters you will find a torque converter drain plug. In principle, flushing is preferable, as it eliminates some of the work steps and allows you to replace almost all of the oil in the circuit. Best regards, Team VAICO

Bună ziua Stoian Alex, Ar trebui să schimbați lichidul de transmisie în jurul a 80.000 km sau la fiecare 4 - 6 ani. Depinde și de utilizarea mașinii dumneavoastră. Tractează o remorcă de multe ori? Atunci ar trebui să faceți un schimb de lichid de transmisie la 40.000 km. Salutări, Team VAICO

@@VAICO Buna ,cum ati ajuns la concluzia ca uleiul trebuie schimbat la 80.000 km ? Daca la reprezentanta Mercedes imi spune ca trebuie schimbat la fiecare 124.000 de km in cazul meu la 77.500mile .Totusi de la 80k km pana la 124k este o diferenta de 44000 km . Pana la urma cine spune adevaru delerul Mercedes sau fiecare service are interval de km diferit ? Multumesc anticipat pentru raspunsul dumneavoastra.
