Thank you thank you thank you for making this video. I think you're the only one on the whole internet to torque test these. I came across these looking for a cheap ass brushless servo and was really blown away by it and I've been scouring youtube for weeks trying to find anyone that posted a real test on these. Besides 9IMOD's own channel you're the only one. I've been spreading the good word of these cheap ass servos for a little while but with the disclaimer who knows what the actual rating is, now I don't have to include the disclaimer anymore. 😅 Are you thinking of testing any of their other ones like 35kg, 45kg, 51kg or 70kg?

Just needed a few cheap servos for my tamiya TT-02 and another project I got going so thought I'd give em a try and test em as I'm at it and yeh there spot in, glad ya like the vid and if I need any higher kg servo or if 9imod want to send any over I'll test the rest of em but no plans at the min :)

I've had two 35kg DS35MG in my crawler (4WS) for a while now and they've been good and trouble free. I've also recently picked up some 51kg BLS-HV71MG for my 1/8th bashers, and one 71kg BLS-HV71MG for my Traxxas XRT. I've not tried the 51kg models yet but the 71kg has gone into the XRT and it seems very good on the bench. However, I have not run it yet for a bashing session. Overall, my experience with 9imod servos has been good and I suspect they are the OEM for other brands.

Yeh seem good so far :)

I've got a 45kg coreless that isn't very good, but the 45kg brushless I have is great. Great review.

I like to test em properly and have a look see if the advertised specs are what you get and for this one at least it's a fantastic value servo you would be in the £80 + range from any of the bigger named brands for the same spec and build quality

yes,,ive been using the 45kg brushless version for almost 2 years now..on my crawler and also 1/7 scale Cen Colossus MT...great servo for the price and endure the all year long bash.

Awesome Servotester as well. Do we see more of that stuff? Some high torque ones or the one you already had.

I'm between the 25kg and the 35kg versions for an 1/8 nitro buggy (racing use). 25kg seems enough for steering, but with a 6v pack, it's only 18kg. Maybe for the accel/brake it's fine. What do you think? I also want to use a 2s lipo, but I can't find one smaller enough to fit in the receiver tray, and ideally I'd need a bec, but most of them are huge and certainly not fitting where I want it ito... Any suggestions? Also, nice video, earned a subscriber.
@WTFRCCars Жыл бұрын
For my nitros I run 2s lipos so you get 8.4v when fully charged but both my receiver and servo can run 8.4v so I don't need a bec, I've never found any really small bec's, as for servo choice lots of people I know seem to run around 35kg for 1:8 scale.

Seems like a good servo. My only "disappointment" is that they don't appear to make any low-profile models.

@@WTFRCCars AGFRC I'm familiar with...really good servos, at reasonable prices. PowerHD is also really good. Although I currently have only 2 AGFRC servos, I do have several PowerHDs in my boats.

Hi again, servo arrived. Want to use it as a servo winch. How get i the continious turning? Mine do the normal 180°. There is no normal potentiometer in it. It's a 4 pin + - DA CK. It has no stop. Any ideas?
@WTFRCCars Жыл бұрын
You can't it's not a 360° servo you have 180° if you need a 360 servo you have to buy a 360 servo or an AGFRC programmable servo

Hi m8 another great video so I just ordered the 45kg version and specs say 6v it draws 5 amps my bec on the esc is only 6v but 4 amps will it damage the esc or will the performance be lower on the servo
@WTFRCCars Жыл бұрын
Over time yes it can damage the ESC I would order a ubec very cheap and easy to use to power the servo plus you can run higher voltage and get full performance out of the servo

Any suggestions on a good servo for a kraton 4s v2

Really depends on how much you want to spend
