9mm vs 45ACP: Do 9mm hollow points even the score?

The great 9mm vs 45 ACP debate rages on but the 9mm has brought a secret weapon to the fight, Speer Gold Dot and Hornady XTP hollow point bullets from Black Butterfly Ammunition! Today we'll compare the 9mm hollow point vs 45 ACP FMJ to see if the the expanding bullet makes up for it's smaller size. To keep things as fair as possible I've also thrown the 45 ACP a bone with some Hornady XTP ammo to keep the haters at bay!
Today we're shooting a PSA Dagger and Rock Island 1911 along with a Silencerco Hybrid 46 Suppressor.

I'm in the 40S&W /10mm gang , 45 ACP is great when it expands properly. Gun and ammo companies technology has caught up 10mm all day. I like all calibers though.

Amazing that so many 9mm ammo makers is trying to make the bullet fold out bigger to be worth anything.

It's to reduce potential damage behind the target while also transferring more energy to the target, which is why the pineapples blew up like they did with the hollowpoints

9mm developed by an Austrian and used by the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, Waffen-SS in WW2 yes a crappy lousing bullet . Is this why wars are going on longer 9mm. "just saying"

Could be they have to keep the cannon fodder alive and if it takes more bullets then that's good for military industrial complex
