OnePlus uses BOE displays.

I'm sorry, I'm a Pixel superfan but everything the OnePlus 13 is offering at this price blows the pixels out of the water. Pixel 9 series is so overpriced. To get a pixel 9 Pro XL with the same starting storage as the iphone 16 Pro Max, you have to pay the same price. $1,199. It's insane for Google to think that pixels are the same value as an iPhone. What made the pixel 6 and pixel 7 series such a great deal is that they offered so much and undercut Samsung and Apple on price. The OnePlus 13 starts at the same price that the pixel 6 Pro and the pixel 7 Pro started at. Yet now it's closer to the price of the base pixel of the 9 series.

In short: I have OP 12 16/512 and OP 13 hasn't gone far, meaning not a leap, in order to consider the upgrade. OP 12 is simply great, OP 13 is good upgrade if you have money and OP 11 or lower, else 12 is better option all-in-all. Will wait for OP "next" to make an upgrade and hope it will have Elite 2 along with substantial camera modules upgrades. Yes, please make it lighter along with smaller camera bumps. Just my thoughts.

Price. Qualcomm is asking absolutely ridiculous amount of money fro Snapdragon chipsets, you can't even imagine how much Google saves by having their own chip and have it made by Samsung. So what it's slower, it's still a flasghip chip and is fast like one. It sounds like a very good phone 400€ cheaper than an iPhone 16 Pro Max for example, where i live. I have never been hyped by OnePlus...OnePlus Open is more exciting, better back design too. I prefer the Pixel design. Also, more Android updates with Pixel. Also, Pixel gives the small Pixel 9 Pro and i prefer compact phones. But OnePlus hardware is another level and we have to recognize that. I would like to see more test about video editing of OnePlus. None of those are my first choices...i'm waiting for S25 and i'm curious about Vivo X200 series, coming in Europe.

Software is still utterly disgusting on the OP13. I got a cn variant (flashed Oxygen dev) and was stunned just how bad it was just purely aesthetically and UX-wise. Ended up selling it with some profit and going back to 7 Pro for now. Even though Tensor is a massive pain and gives me lots of problems, but I hated OP software more. Also stock camera is bordeline unusable on the 13, has some potential with Gcam, but still no proper telephoto.

Switched off Samsung Maining Pixel 9 Pro makes me wish i didnt main Samsung last 10 years or more S6 to Note 4 to S8 + to S10 + to Z Fold 3 to Z Fold 4 to Z Fold 5. Everyone praises SAMSUNG but as a company they have many flaws. Had P9Pro XL sense December 30th and wish i used Pixel the last 10 years instead of SAMSUNG. GOOGLE is a software company that makes Android ofc. Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has the best SOFTWARE. Its stock Android in its purest form. While Samsung has S Pen and edge panels and floating windows which is gimmicky bloatware. The Z Fold phone has major aspect rario issues. Bad battery always for me. Crease never got used too. Bad cameras really bad. Video unfolded not zoomed in size of normal phone screen. With annoying crease in middle. Zoom in cropped too much stuff out. Cover screen aspect ratio issues. Its not a good phone or a tablet and ive been a long term Samsung fan enthusiast. I had an old phone and traded in got P9Pro XL 1tb for $500 off for a 4 year old phonem stil have Z Fold 5 1 tb will probably trade in for S25 ultra or Red magic 10 or Rog phone 9 pro or One Plus 13. ( no 1 tb option! 1 plus 13!!)). Also SAMSUNG manufactures both Google Pixel and Apple iPhone OLED displays S25 ultra will use last years M13 display to SAVE MONEY IN A FLAGSHIP , while Pixel 9 pro and iPhone 16 will have M14 oled display tech. Samsung should always give their flagship the best of the best that put me over the edge and its true.

Don't be so optimistic about Google improving their chips just because they switch to tsmc, keep in mind that the tensor G4 is also a lot worse than exynos 2400. hell, it's even worse than the Kirin 9020 (7nm) in CPU, both performance and efficiency. I think google just sucks at chip design.

Living in germany, there's really no reason for me to get this phone. No good enough AI features (yes I'm someone who will use them, at least the ones that samsung provides), inconsistent cameras compared to the expensive flagships, and the frequent legal issues that OP has in Europe over the last few months. Also not to mention, service availability is also important for me (can't change the battery on my current phone as there are no Nothing service centers here). Getting a oneplus would be ideal for a tech geek like me in India at least in this concern. But overall, even though the battery life, display, performance are impressive AF, I'd still buy the S25 Ultra because of the reliability that I can use that phone for at least 5-6years.

Those saying OnePlus, havent used an OnePlus phone for a long term, the software stability and uodates are very poor on OnePlus, after a major software update you will face lot lf issues, quite recently a new update in OnePlus 12 killed call functionality, a fundamental feature of a phone.

Simple. If youre into camera the pixel is for you. Oneplus camera software suck very very bad. Otherwise OnePlus 13 beat pixel 9 pro is everything else by far .
