Am i the only one who thinks that the greatest novelty apple have introduced thus far is Math Notes with the ability to write things by hand and it makes the calculations by itself?. For me it is the right direction to go. Like, there must be some studies on this topic to see how much it can reduce deforestation if expanded as a technology, as well as other aspects. Samsung and competition should introduce it ASAP.

Ther are lots of bugs in iPad OS 18.1. As a Visually Impaired person I use the speak feature. Usingbit in Pages willl crash the app. Alao, when I first teied to type this comment, the iPad frize and the shift keys on both sides of the keyboard starts blinkimg like crazy. My iPad Pro is the last of those without an M-chip. I see there’s more features in each release that my iPad can’t do and I get a little envious but then I watch a video like this and see that I wouldn’t use any of the new features even if I had them so my old iPad is good for another year 🎉 The fact that the photo editing stuff is part of Apple Intelligence is just an example of them artificially gating something to drive device sales. There’s many apps in the app store that do this already (some better than others obviously) but you don’t need an up to date iPhone or iPad to use them
