A King & his Jester Goes to a Hunted Manor 👻 - First Kinger is one of my favorite characters which I love the lore from him learning about his wife Queenie & this would explain that during Ep. 1 he keep mentioning a insect collection when he came out of his pillow fort & while down in the Glonk cave while in Ep. 2 when he had a bucket on his head when he reminded Ragatha first time at the circus, & him saying 7 years of computer science was probably foreshadowed when Ep. 1 Jax asked if he was an expert on the digital world - Baron Mildenhall is voiced by Tim Alexander - Martha Mildenhall is voiced by Marissa Lenti who also voices Gangle - Ghostly is voiced by WizardWiz - As for references to other media Jax uses a vacuum to capture ghost which has been used in many different series & the light from the head’s mouth has light which might be a reference to deathlights from Stephen King "IT" - Also if you look in the background when Jax is explaining how holding their breath effects each of them to can see a mannequin peeking behind the corner then disappears when it moves onto Kinger

I'ma do a few guesses based on stuff I've seen for concepts like this. 1st: Either they're in the game VR style, cause we saw a VR in ep 1, & they're actors who's purpose is to go into the game/show which they KNOW will suppress their memories since it's to make it a better show, but after each end of an Ep we see they're let out by the other humans. 2nd: They're just copies of the minds of willing scientists or people who worked on the game/show, & are specifically made to have the issues with their memories & everything else, so it's a better show. 3rd: No one has ever been a real person & it's all a highly complex software engineered to make a great show about people who get stuck in a VR game/show. Those are my three guesses for how think the show's is going to reveal hints slowly in each Ep till we actually know what is happening. Besides that be it actors or copies maybe when they abstract it's a permanent end or temporary end of their character & the pit is where their character goes meanwhile the actor, if that's what's happening, exits the VR & is assigned to do something else if it's a perma character death or if possible to be brought back be it actor or a copy then they're put back into it.

Let me just say, imo: It is NOT Darkness that turns Kinger sane. It is TWILIGHT. Remember, Pomni and Kinger were in COMPLETE darkness, only floating eyes, and he was crazy (e.g. poking here eye, while not knowing what he poked, then poked again). With light present, while Darkness around, THEN he turns sane!

I feel like Jax's jerkiness is getting to the point where it's annoying the audience instead of the viewers, and it's not jerky in an endearing way where you can see he has ulterior motives for his behavior. TBH I feel like if Jax had gone with Pomney instead they could have shown he does have a sweet side, and we would have seen what he does when he holds his breath Though that's just from a writing perspective, and I like what we got to see of Kinger. It just seemed like they set the story to be about Jax with the whole breath holding thing and how it comes aroundd lllater on.

I mean based on the lore this universe is a video game. Which has data and code. Caine makes the adventure and codes it to go a certain way. He makes the NPCs which gains access to the data of the game aka the world, characters, and everything else unless he puts parameters on what they can say. Knowing Caine I doubt he does. So the NPC soul that took over Pomni has access to the data which includes the data of Kinger and Queenie. Thus knowing his story of them being married and Queenie abstracting. And knowing it is personal to him it uses that knowledge as an attempt to hurt him.

I just realized we don't see a head for kinger on the walls but the angel has the same eyes as kinger, and at the same time how would the souls know about kinger and his wife? and also if the creature is supposed to be kinger and the creature is one of god's angels, that means kinger might actually be a programmer who created the circus and the angel is a morbid representation of that. Edit: I think I saw his head behind pomni's so nevermind.. but I still want to hold onto this theory

Haven’t really posted my thoughts atleast I don’t think, my memory is so terrible so probably did on the original episode but I’m a say some thoughts and questions So I’m assuming the weird small ghosts things that controlled pomni say something that is supposed to reference the other persons trauma it asked how’s your wife kinger before we knew the stuff about kinger which is kinda cruel especially something you would put into “fun adventure” for people so they don’t turn into a abstraction Pomni knew nothing about this so does this mean Caine sometimes put there trauma in the adventures ? Next question who is “he” was pomni refering to Caine she thinks Caine wants her to suffer or someone from her past now I see where the abusive relationship idea comes into play from other theories
