Congratulations on your first spontaneous cruise. When she realized how feasible it really is you will be much more likely to plan impromptu getaways . That was back in the days of 99.00 each way airfare LAX to Honolulu where we catch a little puddle jumper to Kawaii the boys said their favorite trip ever was when we borrowed a friend's float plane and dropped into one of the small lakes around Tahoe and spent the time camping and fishing. I can't wait to see the rest of your posts of this most excellent vacation. May it remind that's all life is a dance we learn as we go .❤

We just returned from our 5 day on the Breeze. We had to skip a port , dock at Royal upon returning and stand in the rain to wait for shuttles to bring us to carnival lots, no power on most of Galveston island but overall the cruise at Sea went well. No rain/storm while at sea so can’t complain. I was excited to try the new menu choices. A little disappointing. Because of Emeril I expected flavor of herbs/spices! As we were waiting to disembark the crew was painting and doing a few touch ups.. Nice to see that being done.

Is there an area on the bow that's open to the guest? My favorite thing about Voyager of the Seas was the ability to go onto the bow, anytime day or night. Of course the design of the bow is different on the Breeze compared to Voyager, so didn't know if there is an area there or not for guests?

You don't to have kids to get a banana split,i order it on all my cruises expect when i was on the breeze on the last night becuise they run out of bananas.
