Looks great, hope I can get there next year. 👍 I switched over to a KLX400e from a well sorted 250s/300r, a lot more grunt, but the vibes are travelling up a shallow seat into my spine, I need to get it fixed with good foam and cover. Tank & suspension are on the list but not urgent as I also have a Himalayan coming in the next few weeks. Mainly for long trips, but want to keep the 400 for the tough stuff. Might not be the roof of the world but still a stunning vista of our high country. Time for a cuppa. 😊 Carry on guys, love your stuff & some great footage 👌

Absolutely loving these videos. Although I for one, would be super keen for some easier GPX tracks for solo trips.

This series was awesome. Every episode was epic. Can't wait for the next one you do with Lance. You're slowly ticking off some of Australia's most iconic rides. Perhaps Flinders Ranges next!!!!

Great stuff Josh some of your best work. Your voice over sections worked well. I have done the cape and high country and would say the High country is definitely a better ride. I best get to making my Spur track vid after Billy Goats. You would have loved how crazy steep that track was.

Epic trip man, thanks for sharing. The high country takes a beating from you, there’s no way to prepare for it. Luckily your few drops didn’t end in injury because it can get a lot worse real quick. Also great to see the 400 take you everywhere without issue.

Thankyou for a great series. You struggled on the steep hills...next time would lower your gearing?

I sure did 😂 Yea 100% I would. I contemplated doing it for this ride but thought I’d make do. Never again will I make that mistake.

Probably running DUDLOP 606's mate been riding those high country tracks since the early 80s don't see what the problem is it's pretty easy riding any time it's not snowing

Hey Mate, Is the Kreiga system you use on the DRZ400e using just the standard OS base? I see they make a few different bases for particular bike models. Cheers 👍

Hey Josh, you've probably been asked a few times but what size sprokets are you running and how do you find them on both road and dirt?
@_JoshJB_7 ай бұрын
15-44 is what I’ve got. It was less than ideal for a high country adventure though. Wouldn’t recommend it for that but for general adventure riding it’s good 👍🏼
@aussieboi19937 ай бұрын
@_JoshJB_ what was bad about it in the high country
@_JoshJB_7 ай бұрын
@@aussieboi1993 it’s too tall for the steep tracks. I was in first gear for most climbs and in some sections I had to ride the clutch a lot. I should of put it back towards the stock gearing which would of been better for the steep climbs
