Kind of. In BGs, use the build as is as proc sets work there. In NO cp you can still use Oaken but swap tarnished for shattered fate and use order's wrath or a damage set of choice.

It does seem like that - this one is pretty balanced on the whole vs other procs i.e. winterborn. The difference is the ease to proc. Ignoring the bugs with proxy det, it is pretty reasonable damage wise imo.

Hi there, did I understand you correctly that more dex is giving you more dps? So I know you can use more bow abilities but would the dex increase the actual damage of the bow abilities?

So the dexterity passives gives more crit damage thus more burst damage

@jean-michaelharris1970 your highest primary resource and weapon/spell damage increase tool tips. You don't gain loads though for having more max resource. Every 660 resource is around 1 spell/weapon damage

I don’t want to be rude but why do you run steed and swift on a gankers? I know the speed boost is useful for getting away. However on a ganker you should be selecting your targets better than that and also it should be really easy to get away on a sniper so using a damage based mundis would be better because you can get the gank faster and go to stealth before they have a chance to find you also running all blood thirsty allows you to out preform infused at 66% health or so and if your first hit is doing at least 10k like it should you are getting the damage boost for the rest of the combo. Overall seems like a legit build though the speed makes it really slippery.

Focus on time to kill and number of skills needed. When using a damage mundus you don't actually get kills any faster in most cases. For example your opening combo with stead is 15k. With lover it'd be 16-17k. That extra 1-2k won't often get you an extra kill so you'd need to use another skill anyway.

REALLY liking your 2 bar sniper. Do you find the difference between the 2 bar and 1 bar setups significant enough that you feel it's worth switching over to the one bar?

2 bar hits harder but not a huge amount to be honest. The big difference is survival and utility which the 1 bar lacks due to less bar slots i.e. no immobilize immunity. 1 bar is easier to play though. If I'm feeling lazy, 1 bar is easier and more fun as you can just kind of run and gun without needing to buff up. 2 bar you have to buff up so need more foresight.

Try both and see how it fares for you. Even if you keep same traits as 2 bar to get a feel then decide :) I changed my mundus in the gameplay video but same traits due to transmutes and still did okay

Thanks for the comment and feedback! I used to do that but people ended up skipping to the gear and not use the right skills, race or mundus then complain it doesn't work. As such, I instead put a 1 page breakdown on my Patreon for all members for each build as a middle ground.

@@Zog-The-Swedish-Honky Khjiit or dark elf are great but race won't make or break a build. Khjiit has an added benefit that it can be a melee build really well. If you have no use change but if you might use on something else then keep - I'd keep it. Set up the build then if you need a little more damage then change - the damage difference isn't huge between them.

I notice you love speed un your builds. I think a wood elf has a speed bonus.

Speed = defence. Don't get hit = 100% mitigation. Can't get better than that really. As for this setup, as a sniper you often need to move quickly to keep up with people sprinting and have to channel a skill which slows you. The damage boost from all infused isn't enough to justify the loss of speed in my opinion.

Hi Dan, great vid thanks ! However, I have the impression 'light damaging' is not really necessary with a sniper with high burst damage, no ? I use Swamp raider iso Way of the fire to buff the lethal arrow and feel like that works better. ( 2x lethal arrow & 2x silver bolts usually do the trick 😊 ) Am I wrong ?, might be an impression of course, never spend much time on checking the actual 'numbers'...😉

Honestly this setup is the best I've used. The most damage you'd find out there. I do snipe, silver bolts x2 max and they're dead. 25-30k hp instant.

Drop the mythics entirely. Wild hunt and Oakensoul are way less value than the new Monster Set that throws an axe at the target on Heavy attack. I saw your first bow video about Tarnished Nightmare and Way of the Fire with Hunt and did that. It was great, but still lacked in CP Cyrodil. If you drop the mythics and do all TN medium + Ant Monster Set Medium + Way of the Fire Jewery/Bow. ALL MAGIKA. No stam. Weapon Mastery, Deadly Aim, Master, Finesse. Just run around and Heavy attack + Merciless. You will one shot a lot of people and two shot most. Most importantly it has enough burst to blow through the massive tanky players who like to jump around and fight 5+ people at a time. If they get to 3/4 health and you open on them they usually get blown up before they can do anything about it. Your all magika to spam Cloak. USe Swallow Soul as spammable with light attack, but I hardly need to weave as the build will 1 - 2 shot most people.

I've used the bow heavy attack set and it didn't feel good. It often misses at range and the damage isn't enough vs a skill and LA. Personal preference really.

@@Unified-Gaming I dont think Ive ever missed at range and the Heavy attack does 8-10k+ Tarnished 10k, Ant helm/shoulder proc 10k fire proc 4-6k, charged proc 4k, and Merciless 10k+ Its way more damage than a skill because of the Ant proc.

@CommanderStove If it works for you that's great 👍 I prefer the speed and mythic but each to their own. I personally don't like the monster set because I find people on pc eu roll it alot or by the time it lands, they're blocking or rolled away due to the distance.

The psjic skill doesn't weave well hence we don't use it and the other sets do boost the tool tips but the actual burst is less due to the procs doing more damage within a shorter window.

@@roboticbeatz Yeah the crushing weapon doesn't do well in lag and silver bolts hits harder typically due to fighter's guild passive that makes it do 20% more vs vampires/werewolves which most pvp players are.

Yeah the race won't make or break it. You'll less damage but just adjust the target you go for by about 2k hp. 24-28k hp range

ok um first thing off rip i see is no merciless resolve and thats a free 20k dmg skill right there, also you constantly mention how you swap skills and or weapon swap all the time for this build which makes no sense and lastly you didnt reach the 6k dmg bubble your maybe at 4300-5250 fully calculated out, we would really like it if you could show some gameplay we dont want you to end up like alcast

@bakenslay8412 I've shown the build multiple times on stream and also on the channel in various videos. Lethal arrow doesn't scale well so stacking raw damage is actually a net damage loss vs the boost procs or pen sets give. You may also notice that with 5 skills it is hard for bar space but merciless is nice for sure. However it isn't always up and thus can't be relied on if trying to gank. Finally, check the most recent version which includes scribing and is a huge boost to this build. Hope it helps 🙏
