Having the battery level displayed is a great feature but what does it mean in regard to at what level should it be changed? I've had mine two years and the level shows 7.9. So does that mean it still has a lot left, no need to change?

@@havegunwilltravel6398 Hello! So we know 9.0v is what a new battery should be at. 6v could get too low. Great news is battery is in the keypad and easily swapped, so no worry of being locked out, just have a battery on hand ready to go. I’ve never understood the science, but so many people leave extra batteries in the fridge, I’m not recommend it but it might be worth researching.
