Keep an eye on restricted airspaces. Typically surrounding areas of bases will close the air prior to live firing. Theres and ac-130 range *somewhere* in florida and im able to watch them from half a mile away at night. They fire from the edge of the range and into it which is like 2-3 miles from where they shoot so theres no risk and its a national forest that i view from

I love the video …my dad was DCC on 78-0632 on TDYs and his real job he was in charge of egress… he retired E-8 Aerospace Chief (22)yrs with 104th FW/131st FS Westfield Massachusetts…they now have the F-15s from Otis AFB Cape Cod, Massachusetts …before that he worked on F-105s (Takhli RTAB Thailand) from Moody AFB Valdosta Ga…
