I am a 60 yo grandfather of two autistic grandchildren. I was teared up before he sang a note. This had me bawling my eyes out worshipping God. He is blind but still singing open the eyes of my heart Lord. I want to see Him with the eyes of my heart and I want to see His hand working in my life with my eyes. I’ve taught children That’s parents were so selfish they could not give up their drug addiction when they founid out they were pregnant. It is so sad I found myself in the same situation fortunately I was not pregnant. But as far as I was into drugs I quit everything And as much as I wanted to be a mother I decided to get my child up for adoption because I don’t believe in Murder that is what abortion is but maybe I was just cautious because I wasn’t pregnant praise God so I never had to have an abortion and I never would have and I never had to give a child to adoption but I would have. I was 16 then I am now 53 I am store without child because I never trusted a man to stay. Between my inability to trust and my major PTSD and depression if I had had a child without a man to stand beside me I would’ve given my baby up for a better life I never would Even consider murdering a child. Even if I was raped as horrific as it is. Praise God for Texas I mean they tell parents of your child is going to be born with disabilities so you should abort. I don’t understand it but everybody has a gift everybody has a talent.

My husband sent this to me. Our daughter was on drugs when she gave birth to daxton 2 years ago. He is visually impaired and autistic. Dax is now in the custody of us and his dad. We share custody. I was the child hiding under the table in class, the one who was too scared to sing the alphabet song for my teacher, just as the rest of the class each did... Do not be afraid. Be strong and brave. (International Children’s Bible, don’t remember the reference) - the verse that changed me to sing as I hike in our neighborhood with my son. I’m not afraid now, to speak to groups if necessary, to share an idea that can bring a part of the kingdom of God to earth... God will use you in His time, and give you strength for what He needs you to do. 😊
