A little of the ambient engine sounds would add a lot to your flying videos. I use a Zoom H1 audio recorder to pic up my Coms (intercom+radio) and use my “pilot-cam” GoPro audio for background engine/airplane sounds. It does require syncing the two audio tracks, but it adds a lot to the reality of my flight videos. A simple 3 claps while the intercom is hot is all you need at the start of your video to sync your audio and video tracks. There are multiple other ways to capture two audio tracks, some that don’t require audio/video syncing. There are a few flight videos on my YT site where you can hear the effect of mixing in ambient sound if you want to hear the result. Love that airplane and your “tail cam” video.

@@therv-8pilot My Sony cam demo video probably has the best sound as I was using some new Sony action cams with better built-in mics for the ambient sound. The editing can get quite time consuming, especially if you are using multiple cameras.

Yes I have 5 GoPros I use some times, me, passenger, tail, wing and a roaming for walking shots. It’s a LOT of work and I’m always impressed with people like you who make it look easy! Well done! I’ll check that video out. TY again!
