One of the kids I mentored for many years installed flat pole bases along the entrances into the town cemetery as his Eagle Scout Project....the VFW was there to help too, but he raised all the money, and did all the work. Now every Memorial Day, and Veterans day those flags line then entrances to the cemetery.

Good to know folks are still raising em up proper this kid should be all over the news to set an example for others i live in colorado we have a few vet memorials my favorite is in evergreen bergen open space park when ever im near i visit it memorialises fallen heros of the area from different wars my pops was a marine i scattered some of his ashes on a hill overlooking the memorial the rest are in alaska along the kenai river so he can go fishing in what he said is the closest place to heaven on earth alaska

As soon as I saw the headline, I knew it had to be an Eagle Scout project. Not all of them are this grand. You don't hear much positive about boy scouts these days because of detractors and media agendas here and there. God and country. Physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
